Sperm is only slightly affected by age. So being 20 is no guarantee. My OH had virtually 0 count at 30 (no previous children though)
As i say its things like severe illness or mumps that can temporarily or permanently affect.
Though you are probably correct. It doesnt sound anything to stress about for either of you, some people have only the cysts with no fertility issues.
Just carry on trying for at least another 6m.
Although fertility treatment wont be an option they will possibly fix issues like to do with CS scarring etc.
Looking at your bmi, it is very low 17.8 you need to gain a few lb to be in the healthy range.
If you think youre eating a lot but not putting on weight i say again get your thyroid levels checked as it could make you anxious, have heart issues etc, lower fertility and MC. If not then you may need to change diet slightly as it sounds like weight loss is relatively recent.
Thyroid issues can i think cause cysts on the ovaries.

Sorry to hear your having problems conceiving. But 5months is not very long to be trying for a baby tbh. Doctors really only properly look in to it when it's more than 1yr+.

I went to my doctor when we had tried for 8months, told us there's nothing they can do as we need to have more regular sex.

After 2.5yrs of trying I went back to the doctor, as I still hadn't conceived, was referred to a gynaecologist - whom after tests advised I suffer with PCOS (excessive hair growth, over weight) I've now reduced my weight & without even thinking about TTC I am 8wks pregnant.

Maybe Hun try not to worry to much about it (I no it's hard, it was for me to)
Have sex on the dates your ovulating (plus a couple dates before & after) that way you also won't loose the enjoyment of sex.

Hope all goes well for you xx

I have been getting pains there since I had my c section and my daughter is 3 now plus I haven't been on contraception for over 2 years and I was with my ex for a year and we didn't fall pregnant that's why I have been refered to giynacolagist

This is an old post I know but no offence you should feel so privileged. I'm 19 and I have just been informed that there is nothing wrong with me what so ever but I will never be able to have kids. I think just to have one would be okay, so maybe just relax with 5 for now andenjoy your life

I have pcos and then found to also have hyperthyroidism.

I was slim at an ideal weight and not excessively hairy so no outward signs of pcos.

I had been trying for a baby for 5 years before finally getting pregnant naturally.

Only difference was new partner, and I relaxed a lot and started eating more naturally rather than processed foods.

It seems controlling the hyperthyroidism was the biggest help
