Advice on job interview at 20 weeks pregnant!

Hi ladys
I have been out of work for about a month, I have always worked part time or full time, I am currently not receiving any benefits due to not paying enough national insurance :(
I got laid of from my last job they said due to contract ending but now realise that it was due to being pregnant as they have just offered my friend her job back.
I have a job interview and I have a very obvious bump and no cloths to hide it, I have had a few job interviews but as soon as they see I'm pregnant it seems to put them of I'm really looking for some advise on how I can make people see past the Bump?

Also me and DH really need me in a job we are really struggling on a teachers wage I know the job I am going for needs Night workers 3 nights a week 12 hours shifts would you take this on at 20 weeks pregnant? Would me maybe saying I'm willing to work the night shift make them take me a bit more seriously or think a bit more about taking me on before dismissing me.

The problem you are facing is that anyone employing you right now- needs an employee. Unless you are massively skilled for the position most employers won't consider employing you after 20 weeks. Not if there are 50 other applicants who can do the same job and aren't pregnant. If you are 20 weeks that means realistically you can only work for around 16 more weeks and then will need months off after your baby comes. Your best bet is to sign up for temping, apply for seasonal positions or positions that start a few months after the baby is born.

It's not fair but tis how it is in general.

Also 12 hour night shifts when pregnant will be really hard. Would you be on your feet? They have to think of Health and Saftey

You maybe right, it wont be all on my feet but most of the time.

How about trying temping agencies rather than perm work? Not a long term solution but you wouldn't be getting smp anyway from any new employer.

I would contract ACAS about your past job and your colleague being offered their job back. On the face of it it seems discriminatory

I was offered a job at 30 weeks and very obviously pregnant!
They shouldn't discriminate and don't need to know you are even pregnant
That being said not all employers are fair and act how they should, temp /agency work etc is also an option? X

I think it depends on the job I do care and they told me they can't take me on due to a health and safety issue.
