I've just had my 31 weeks antenatal, and GP found trace of glucose in urine - not enough to be worried about, but he's getting me in again next week to check. Gestational Diabetes is the concern. One symptom is needing to urinate more, and i have noticed that I do lately, but then again I guess that's a normal symptom of pregnancy! I need to go pretty much an hour after every glass or mug of fluid I drink, but I don't wake up in the night to pee… He also said the test showed I was dehydrated today, tho, and that might explain the glucose.

Needing to pee more in late pregnancy is completely normal - your bladder is under a lot of pressure. It's specifically mentioned on the NHS pages as a normal thing that you start to notice around your stage of pregnancy: www.nhs.uk/Conditions/pregnancy-and-baby/pages/pregnancy-weeks-29-30-31-32.aspx

A one-off trace of glucose isn't necessarily a problem. I had the same thing, but it didn't recur when they retested, and so they concluded it was just an aberration. I hope your second test turns out to be clear.

Always peeing, every half hr or hour if I'm lucky. During the night I'm up 4x, it's dreadful n soooo annoying....I don't know where it all comes from?? Lol

Have the same thing, having my bloods done on Thursday to see if it's serious or not. I'm not too worried though as several midwives and the doctor said to me that your kidney's just aren't operating that well by the end so traces of glucose in urine are quite common. To answer your question, I wee all the time, most inconvenient and as Jodie says - very annoying at night given how little sleep I'm getting anyway!
