Hi everyone.
I am 5w2d pregnant, just found out on saturday. Up until then I had been experiencing breast tingling as my only pregnancy symptom. It was only slight and couldn't be described as pain. However, from saturday onwards it has got less and less, and is now pretty much gone. i don't have any other symptoms of being pregnant at all.

I don't know whether to be worried or not. I know symptoms can come and go, but I just need some reassurance that this is ok. Am I right in thinking most pregnancy symptoms start around 6 weeks?

Also, just to mention I have had 3 previous miscarriages (didn't have many symptoms during those pregnancies either) and so am on progesterone pessaries. That's another thing - i thought i would at least get some side effects of the progesterone...

Thanking you in advance!

I can't help you at all I'm afraid, except to say I was pregnant 10 years ago with a girl, and the only symptom I had with her was sore nipples, very early on. After that, I didn't feel any different until 7 months when I began to feel tired.

I'm now pregnant with a boy and have felt terrible from the off, and have had most of the symptoms, and still have morning sickness.

It is possible to have 'symptomless' pregnancies. Smile

Am on first pregnancy and felt fine (no symptoms except two days of upset stomach before positive test) until around 6.5 / 7 weeks and even then only because I was looking for them. Can't imagine what you've been through but symptomless pregnancy (and especially at this stage are no big deal). Good luck and congrats!

Thank you for your replies. I know these are early days... I just have to stop worrying but it is so hard. I have an early scan at 7.5 weeks, but it feels like an eternity waiting till then.
Do you know how early you can get a private scan by any chance?

I've had miscarriages too so I get your anxiety. I didn't really have any symptoms until six or seven weeks. My boobs were on and off sore and then I got on and off nausea. Every time they were 'off'i panicked.

Ultimately you have to remember that it's in the lap of the gods. You are powerless but maths is on your side!

I had no symptoms other than breasts feeling a bit tender, I found out I was pregnant at 5 weeks and there were no other symptoms until I was about 8 weeks and I started feeling bloated and nauseous, but it wasn't that bad.

I'm 39 weeks and can honestly say I had very few symptoms all the way through my pregnancy... Until now (which I'm hoping is signs of early labour approaching).

I know it's virtually impossible but if I could do my pregnancy all over again the one thing I would change would be to stop worrying, over analysing everything and just enjoy the fact that i was having an easy pregnancy.

I would also just somehow block Google from my phone.

I know it's really hard, especially after mcs, but please try not to worry. I didn't really have any symptoms at the beginning apart from feeling tired. I then felt nauseous from weeks 10 to 14 but that was about it. I was also on progesterone (6 a day for 3 months!) and didn't have any side effects from those either.

scambledegg · 22/10/2014 07:28

Ah that's interesting to know chloe that you didn't get side effects from the prog either. Other months when I have been using prog pessaries from ovulation, I have had some side effects but then got a BFN. This month with a BFP it's the opposite, which doesn't make sense to me....
