Assuming you plan to b/f of course. Sorry, shouldn't just assume!

There are sites out there which hire gorgeous maternity dresses for just this kind of thing - check out Hire Expectations. Lots of lovely dresses, they send out a couple of sizes and then you just send them back after.

I have recently discovered i am pregnant with ds3, which is actually going to be due 5weeks after my planned wedding, we didnt think we would conceive quite so soon but we are over the moon after finding out yesterday. I had my wedding dress planned but luckily not paid for and have been looking at maternity wedding dressed which are infact cheaper than actual wedding dressed so bonus all round! There is a lovely site vividress.co.uk, select wedding guest dresses from the top and scroll to maternity, they are a little more expensive though. Or try ebay, i had lovely dresses from there when pregnant with my first 2, or look at maxi dresses in your normal size as they flow nicely over bump and can be warmed up with a shawl. Good luck

I got a seraphine dress which I've been wearing for everything smart for the last month or so: they have good sales' discounts, if you happen to find something in the right size: www.seraphine.com/outlet.html. The one I got was like this, and it comes in various different colours: www.seraphine.com/colour-block-nursing-dress-blue-navy.html. It's really comfortable, looks nice, and machine washable.

That particular one is slightly over your budget, but I reckon you could keep and wear it (and quite a lot of the other ones from there) as a normal dress afterwards, which might justify spending slightly more if you like it. As someone else said, if you're planning to bf, and you can get a nursing dress, that also makes it a better investment.

Or just look for a normal dress in a stretchy fabric. Wrap styles and empire line work well.

I wore this with a smart non-maternity navy blazer thingy to a wedding at 22 weeks and then again to a work conference at 34 weeks - I think I looked good anyway!!! it should work for b/f and also is actually a nice pale grey/blue not straight grey like in the photo.
