Anyone know where I can get some maternity sportswear, ideally hi vis? I'm a pretty serious cyclist and am in traffic in the rush hour most days but my current stuff won't fit me soon.

I'm using maternity leggings for cycling at the moment with a large t-shirt on. Picked up a giant hi-vis jacket in Aldi!

Do you know how to adjust a bike to a bump? I've been okay until now but beginning to knee the baby as I peddle. I remember reading advice on this but can't remember where now.

I think your best bet is maternity leggings and larger size high vis tops.

Look up Fitta Mama, expensive but if you take your cycling seriously then it could be worth it. I've bought a top and leggings via eBay, so a bit cheaper than the website, the top is really nice, waiting on the leggings arriving.

Jenny, I would just raise your handle bars and if it won't reduce your leg extension too much, maybe lower your saddle for a more upright riding position. Don't think that would work with drop bars- that would require a rethink I reckon.

What I really need is a waterproof hi vis coat. Strangely I can't find anything online! Good knows what people who need them for work do (there must be pregnant women working at docks or whatever) but I think I'll just have to get something man sized and hope I can manage to get it fastened round the bump through the winter.

Thanks Guybrush unfortunately on my road bike my handlebars are at their highest and saddle at it's lowest -DH is talking about swapping bits of bikes though which always makes me worry! I'm going to see if I can do something with my mountain bike instead.

I gave up looking for maternity cylcing wear and just went for mens stuff -although DH's clothes are too fitted to fit me and he's worried I'll stretch them on my bump.

They have hi vis waterproof jackets in lidl ATM for £10, so I just grabbed one in a large size; they are slightly stretchy too :))
I have stopped from cycling by doc and DH :( , but until,2w ago, was still pretty active. I wore DH cycle top, and my shorts were really roomy anyway, being but Simon vowel waisted to begin with...
