Hiya, I'm looking for a bit of advice or reassurance really. After 2 miscarriages I was referred for a recurrent miscarriage test, by the time the test results came back I was already 7 weeks pregnant (now 17) the lupus antibody was found and I am currently on clexane injections daily and aspirin. Around the same time I found out I'm a type 1 diabetic also. Then at my 12 week scan I found out I have a tilted womb but I'm not sure what this means for the pregnancy? I'm just so scared that with all the going on the baby won't make it :( has anyone had a similar experience am everything been ok? Sorry for the long post I'm just so worried. Thanks xx

Sorry you have so much on your plate.

I have type 1 diabetes ( and other health problems). I had a very straightforward pregnancy. The high levels of monitoring were very reassuring.

Good luck! You are already a third of the way there.

I have a tilted womb and its caused now problems for me 37 weeks with my 2nd. Hope the rest of your pregnancy goes well xx

That's a lot of different things going on but the good news is for this pregnancy they are aware of the issues. So you will get extra care which is going to make a big difference.

I hope it goes well for you and you get lots of extra scans and care.

Is a tilted womb the same as "retroverted"? If so, mine is too, when you get to a certain stage and the baby gets big enough, it flips forward into the normal position. It just makes the early external scans a big harder. That shouldn't cause any problems itself.

As for the other issues, thank goodness that you are having monitoring and interventions from so early on! Good luck

Tilted womb is completely normal. 1/10 of women have one - myself included. It causes no bother at any time. So you can forget at least that worry.
