Hello,I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend twice in one day,I am on the pill and took the morning after pill the same day a couple hours after. In the past 3 days,I've been having very watery yellow/green discharge and slight cramping. My period is due in 10 days and I ovulated 4 days ago. My boyfriend is free of all stds

It does sound like it could be BV or something similar, OP; I tend to get similar symptoms when mine flares up. It's unpleasant but fairly easily treated and managed, if that is the case. Pop along to a sexual health clinic and they can do a quick swab to check for you - not very pleasant either, but it's definitely better to get it checked out.

STDs are infections, holins: some bacterial, some viral. They are just grouped together, separately from some other infections which have been mentioned here, because they are sexually transmitted.

Your symptoms sound a bit like an infection. Whether that infection is sexually transmitted or not is a question only a medical practitioner can tell you.

There's no shame in going to the sexual health clinic. I went a while ago after an old partner warned me he'd been diagnosed with an STD. I was a bit embarrassed. The nurse noticed, and said 'You shouldn't be embarrassed about coming here, it's much more embarrassing not to.' The staff are lovely and non-judgemental and you'll know you're in good health for the future.

Yes it could just be an infection, but infections can get serious if left untreated - they can work their way into the kidneys which will make you very poorly.
Don't worry about going to the clinic, they're all busy and full of different people from all walks of life. It's very easy to get infections. The body is a bit vulnerable and warm and bacterial. The best thing you can do is get checked and either have your mind put at rest or a prescription for antibiotics if needed that you can start ASAP.
Try to go together and support each other, but if that's not possible, just go!
