Congratulations!

It'll be fine.

When I was having my first, I joined a parentcraft class and after we'd all had our babies, we'd meet up from time to time. Anyway, 7 or 8 months after we'd had the babies, we met up in the pub and one of the others announced she was expecting.

We all said she must be off her rocker Grin

Well. I got mine because although I didn't know it, I was also pregnant and we were back in the hospital giving birth again at the same time. We both had become pregnant 6 months after our firsts were born.

So there's 15 months between my two. They are now 14 and 15 years old.

It's been fine. Honestly, just - fine. Tiring, but that's being a parent.

Everyone is different but I really liked getting the baby stuff done in one long stretch, instead of having to go back to it years later.

Accept and ask for the help you want and need. That would be my advice.

15 months between my 2 - certainly hard when they're small, but as they get older they are able to do the same activities, share friendship groups etc., so can be really good.

I can't tell you how it is with a newborn and toddler. As Im currently 36 weeks with dc2 and have a 12 month old.. He does not walk yet on his own but bum shuffles.

Honestly, there are days where it is very very hard and tiring.
I only had morning sickness between week 6-8.. Once I hit 10 weeks I had no symptoms. Sometimes I even forgot that I was pregnant.. Grin
Now with a huge belly and Braxton hicks it is hard but I can only suggest take as much help as you can get. DH helps me out a lot with DS!

One thing that I noticed lately with caring for DS and being quickly exhausted I don't feel like housework or cooking. So we had a lot of take outs lately and my house is a mess! (Well that is what I find as everywhere DS toys are Smile)

Oh and one last thing, rest when your little is sleeping.. That is what helped me to survive the day..

Congratulations!!!

My smallest age gap is 13 months (should have been 15 but they were prem).

It's hard work, tiring but managable. And even though I love the baby stage and pregnancy, it's "out of the way" so we can then watch them grow into beautiful little people :)
