I'm 13+4 & I constantly have some pain or another in my stomach.

it doesn't feel like a stretching pain more like something is constantly prodding my organs .
I also swear I feel a swift kick in the same spots every so often , so say if I have a nap after an hour I'm woken by a kick this always happens .

it's been going on for the past fortnight & that's far to soon to be able to feel the baby move as its my first .

Also I feel like I have wind trapped in my stomach all the time as well .

I'm struggling to do anything because of it .

Any ideas what it could be ?

The 'kick' pain is quite possibly trapped wind - if you've been lying down napping for a while, it's probably a bubble that's suddenly shifted when you've moved in your sleep and it's enough to wake you up! It's surprising how painful trapped wind can be, I sympathise completely!

Is their anything I can take for it ?

I had quite bad 'period pain' feelings for the first 4 or 5 months really. Also wind pain hurts - I found that lying on my left hand side helped, as did massaging my stomach in circles to move the 'wind' on. Oddly it didn't make me massively farty, just bloated.

I took paracetamol for the period pain feeling quite a lot. I've had it bad again since about 32 weeks, no idea what it really is - stretching pains are quite different to the general ache.

I think Windeaze is safe in pregnancy, and Rennie do a product called Deflatine which you can take.

However, best thing for me was always peppermint tea followed by an inelegant downwards dog type position - on all fours but down on forearms, sticking butt into the air. Try getting someone to rub your back too and see if that shifts it - likely to work, but can be unpleasant for the person doing the rubbing Grin

If it persists, however, I'd see your MW just to check there's not something underlying that is causing the problem Smile
