Just interested to know the above really. Also, are you avoiding foods based on what your MW / HCP recommends, the NHS website or elsewhere? Thanks.

My midwife who is extremely experienced (team leader) said that runny eggs are fine as long as they bear the lion mark, because they are tested and certified to be salmonella free!!

Don't want to give false information but I'm positive this is correct because I am being heavily monitored for a high risk pregnancy!!

Grrrrr! I have also just discovered that hibiscus tea is also off which means the fruit tea I've been drinking to replace normal tea is also off. It just gives me rage! Angry

Have you tried Roiboosh tea? I'm normally a 5 gallon a day tea drinker but I'm doing ok with just one cup of Normal in the morning, one in the evening with something sweet, then the rest of the 5 gallons in between as Roiboosh, with milk.

It doesn't taste exactly like normal tea but it is actively nice and I want to drink it, which is more than I can say about decaffeinated tea which is disgusting. It is also actively recommended in pregnancy because it has calcium and is good for digestion.

Or if you want to stick with fruity herbals then Twinings Echinacea and Raspberry is really good, everyone who tries it at my house ends up having another one and taking a couple of bags home with them. Echinacea is good for the immune system too.
