can anyone recommend? I'm nearly 7 weeks pregnant, but my sore boobs are waking me up at night (in addition to having to pee lots).

They're no bigger, but they're heavier if you know what i mean - still 32c, but they're pulling apart from each other and heading towards my armpits Angry

can anyone recommend something not too restrictive but with a bit of support? and not too expensive if possible.

I got one from mother care, no underwire etc and really comfy. Was only around £10.00 x

Mercedes519 · 14/09/2014 22:26

Have a look at Bravissimo they do great pyjama tops with inbuilt soft bras. I'm somewhat big of boob and wear them all the time to stop them reaching my knees

Mine were really sore for the first few months (that's how I knew I was PG with DD) but it did get better! Hope you feel more comfortable soon.

TeenageMutantNinjaTurtle · 14/09/2014 22:31

Marks and Spencer do a 2 pack of sleep bras for £14. They're perfect for sleeping in, good support but v comfy. I bought them when I was pregnant and still wear them now I'm breast feeding. Way comfier than anything else I tried.

GobblersKnob · 14/09/2014 22:33

Sainsbury's do cheap stretchy bras for a £5, they are great for sleeping in.

pippinleaf · 14/09/2014 22:34

I wear a sleep bra every night, it's like a crop stretch vest. I was a 32c. I'm a 34d now and they hurt all the time. I'm 20 weeks. The difference it made when I finally realised I needed to sleep in a bra was huge - what a relief! I think mine were in a pack of two from mothercare,

SweetPea3 · 14/09/2014 22:36

I'm not sure whether you're planning to breast feed, but if you are, it may be worth getting a night time nursing bra as then you can continue to use it after the birth for night feeds. These, from Mothercare, are great: www.mothercare.com/sleep-bras/mat_sleepbras,default,sc.html

Make sure you get cotton-rich (i.e. not the "Comfort Fit" ones) if planning to use for breastfeeding as lots of people get night sweats for the first few months and the synthetic ones will make it worse!

dizhin79 · 14/09/2014 23:04

Pound shop soft bras! I was told about them when pregnant last year, so comfy, still wearing then now whilst breastfeeding!

Purplefrogshoes · 14/09/2014 23:15

The vest tops from bravissimo are fab or the sleep bras from mothercare are good

McFox · 14/09/2014 23:22

Yes to the Sainsburys ones, I'm still using mine now that I'm breastfeeding in the night, they've been a brilliant cheap pregnancy purchase Smile

TestingTestingWonTooFree · 15/09/2014 05:50

I bought yoga tops cheap on eBay. I think they're like the Sainsburys ones but about £3 each.

Topsyloulou · 15/09/2014 07:55

Another vote for the sainsburys ones. Just wish I'd found them sooner as they are so comfortable.

squizita · 15/09/2014 09:29

Primark crop top style seamless bras for night. I'm a bit bigger than you boobwise and even with my bazookas they work perfectly.

SingingSoftly · 15/09/2014 10:12

I've just been wearing tight lycra vests from Marks. Keeps them fairly well in place and is comfortable. I tried wearing bras but I always seemed to have some bit of plastic or metal digging in somewhere.

CaleyThistle · 15/09/2014 11:45

Another vote for the Sainsburys ones. I've got them in black and nude. My boobs were a killer in 1st trimester and they were a lifesaver at night.

VisualiseAHorse · 15/09/2014 12:00

I came on to ask this exact question! It wasn't like this last time I was pregnant, but this time they are so heavy and sore.

jbee1979 · 17/09/2014 11:05

Thanks everyone. No Sainsburys near me so left work the other night at 8 to go to Mothercare and it was closed. In desperation I went to Matalan and got a very polyester tank top for £4 - wouldn't have been my first choice and will probably make me sweat buckets, but its done the job this last two nights until I get something sorted Smile

On the subject of bras, anyone know where does good massive ones? I was a 34JJ before falling pregnant, and cant find one to fit me at all!

Mothercare dont go to that size, most places dont really. Think it will be a visit to bravissimo or debenhams!

JennyBlueWren · 17/09/2014 20:39

Bravissimo are great for larger bras. I've always been large (30K before pregnancy) and wore soft bras at night time.
Sadly they only go up to size L and I'm now an M :( have ordered bras from abroad and got one online from the UK (but it's horrible).

TestingTestingWonTooFree · 17/09/2014 21:12

Royce do nursing bras in L cup.

cheesecurry86 · 17/09/2014 23:41

I just use sports bras as they are not padded or wired and have a little extra support which well needed in pregnancy and I have biggish boobs normally when not pregnant so wear them usually x

TeaandHobnobs · 18/09/2014 13:57

I wore (and am wearing again this time) Genie bras in bed. Last time I was also wearing them during the day from about 30 weeks, as my bump was up near my ribs and bra bands became so uncomfortable.
