I'm 34 weeks pregnant with dc2 and I'm beyond exsusted it's really getting me down to the point I'm crying about it because I'm always tired and have no energy.

I remember being very tired when pregnant with dc1 but I'm sure it wasn't as bad.

Anyway I did have a ok nights sleep for once and waited for partner to get home at 12 i laid in bed until then and I've woken up at half past 3.

My dreams are very vivid at night time and I do get sore legs and toss and turn and find I sleep better in the day?

Anyone else?

I am 27weeks with DC3, dc1 is 2 years old and dc2 in 1 year old, I know all about feeling tired and ratty, most of the time I do cry lol, I haven't had a good nights sleep in ages or a lie in for that matter :/
my kids are very hard work, they wont let me sit down and watch telly or anything I have to be playing with them all the time!
everyone says take it easy, have a nap during the day, put your feet up have a cuppa!! well very easy said then done! so yeah for me this is normal lol,, xx

I'm 35+2 & shattered. Even putting laundry away wears me out. I find a 2 hour nap during the day is the best sleep I get Smile

I'm knackered, nearly 30 weeks. Waiting on an Ofsted inspection, four children from 14-2 years old and I've just said I'll work right up to my due date! Might have to fold and go a few days earlier.

It's awful isn't it feel for you all, but glad it's normal xx

Same here. Have 4 under 4 so am up and down at night a good bit (one cries, another needs a wee, baby looking a bottle, blah blah), husband snores, and then theres my own 2 hourly peeing and usual rigmarole to change sleeping position!!! Honest to goodness my nights are shite. A nap during the day would be soooo wonderful, kids dont allow really. Barely keeping on top of cooking and loading the dishwasher, house is a state. This baby cant come soon enough! 5 weeks to go though...

I'm a total whinge. But that was therapeutic! :-)

pinkteapots · 12/09/2014 20:51

Oh and LBNM... yeah, gets me down too. Had a low day today. I dont know what is hormones and what is tiredness. I think it probably is normal though. Sending you energy vibes and a good day tomorrow!

38 wks on Sunday and nighttime sleep's been awful, been up for last two hours having finally given up in dropping off. Constant weeing, baby moving, ache-ing legs. And no prospect of a lie in thanks to dc1. The thing is, while I'm hoping for an on-time birth, I'm dreading the slightly different form of sleep torture that newborns bring, the birth, the recovery from the birth and the unhelpful visitors...

LBNM19 · 13/09/2014 11:17

Oh I no, I hardly slept last night just can't get comfortable.

I was tired when dc1 was born but I still felt better in myself. Depends how good baby is I suppose xx

Bloody heartburn

happypotamus · 13/09/2014 17:49

God, yes! I am 33 weeks tomorrow, waking up all through the night and getting up in the morning feeling more tired than when I went to bed. The way my shifts have been mean I haven't had to go to work since Tuesday, but will be doing 13hr shifts alternate days from tomorrow for a week with a 12hr nightshift next weekend. It takes me more than one day to recover from a shift so may have dropped dead from exhaustion by then. I feel terrible too, because I have no energy or inclination to do stuff with 3yr old DD. We haven't really done anything today except go to the library. I was going to take her to the park this afternoon, but DH made me have a nap instead (I now feel worse as usual after a nap, I feel better if I just keep going). Sadly for DD, I don't suppose the exhaustion is going to get any better for a long time once we have the baby to keep me awake all night.
