WWYD - movements at 35 weeks

Pregnant with DS2 - since movements started at around 18 weeks the movements have been large movements, morning and evening and quite painful.

Yesterday and this morning I have felt some slight movements (not painful and he has been still for longer periods of time.

I had the same thing happen about a month ago and went to get checked out, sods law that he started painfully moving about 5 minutes after I was put on the monitor.

So WWYD? Wait until this afternoon to see if the movements change or phone now to see if I can get checked out again?

I hate all this worrying - I was never like this with DS1!

I'd try a cold sugary drink to see if that gets him moving, but at 35 weeks I think you should at least ring for advice.

If I'm worried about movement I have a banana and a large class of very cold water. Then sit on recliner.... And he goes crazy Grin

Try the same but if you're still not happy, do get checked out.

If you are worried then get checked out, I was exactly the same with DS who is 9 next month. I actually bought a device I used to strap around my bump to hear his heartbeat. I used to get told to keep track of movements and sit down and relax, put my hands on my bump and see if theres any activity, your baby might just be sleeping

Thank you for your quick replies and suggestions.

I've just had lunch and a cold sugary drink and he's started moving a lot again, maybe he was hungry lol!

Thank you again, I'll be trying these tips next time too!
