Is Ribena allowed in pregnancy?

Hi all,

Does anyone know if I can drink strawberry Ribena?

I have been drinking it once a day in the bottles you buy for the last 3 days?

It hasonly just crossed my mind if I can drink it or not?

I thought it was Irn Bru that turned kids ginger.

I've been eating rare steaks, brie and pate all the way through. They've never given me food poisoning or vitamin A overdose in the past so I don't see why it would now. Unless you are downing bottles of vodka while smoking a crack pipe you won't do any harm.

I lived on Ribena with dd1 - the blackcurrant stuff though. Nearly called her Ribena too I drank that much. She turned out pretty ok..

I drank loads of orange and red drinks while I was pregnant and have a ginger daughter.

I've been over-dosing on nesquick banana milkshake. So much so that sometimes my wee is bright yellow from the dye in the powder. I genuinely think there is a risk I will give birth to a bright yellow baby.
