Breech baby

At every appointment and scan baby has been breech, I'm only 27 weeks so I'm not worried and the chances are he will turn (i hope)
I was wondering if anyone else had experience of this and wether they knew if the baby had turned? Will i feel it and instantly know ?
Also ... If your baby didn't turn when did something get brought up about it ?

I had scans at 20, 24, 28 and 32 weeks where the baby was breech. I saw a midwife at one of those scan appointments who said 'not breech' about 5 minutes before the sonographer said 'breech'.

At 34 weeks I had a midwife appointment who said it wasn't breech - she 'thought' she could feel a head in the right place. Definite change in the location of kicks, so it felt like she could be right. Last week had a consultant appointment with a midwife beforehand, she showed me how to feel where the head was (I didn't really get it), and it was definitely NOT breech.

They move loads basically. I've spent the last month installing and painting skirting board, so on my hands and knees. Also, after the 32 week appointment I did some of the inversion stuff from spinningbabies.com. At that stage it still moves around loads, but I could feel kicks that definitely suggested it was still breech most of the time. Since I did the inversions though, it's been predominately head down, and I can now recognise the feel of its back through the bump, so know it's facing my back too.

I think they start sort of worrying at around 36 weeks.. even though it can still shift. A friend had a breech scan at 36 weeks where they booked a C-section for 39 weeks. Baby arrived by emergency section after she went into labour naturally at 38+2. He was engaged breech at 36 and an ECV didn't work.

I had a breech 1st pg which was only diagnosed at 35w when MW couldn't find hb on Doppler and sent me off to MAU (she was looking in the wrong place as 'head') was bottom. Had been that way since 28w from my recollection of movements. I spent a lot of time doing inversions from then on, and had done a reasonable amount of postural alignment, but had no effect. You probably would feel a change of that magnitude as the head will be up by your ribcage soon, that hurts as they push and stretch. They start to think about ECV from 36w on, although baby can flip of its own accord, depending upon how tight your stomach muscles are and how deep your pelvis is.
In my case an ECV at 36w didn't work as was frank breech with bottom firmly engaged in pelvis, was booked for ELCS at 38w labour started next morning. Delivered healthy 6lb 2oz baby at 36+5ish by EmCS by lunchtime.
This one has been breech (frank and then footling) at 21/22 weeks when last scanned, so will ask for positioning scan before making any plans re birth. Has been flipping about from where kicks are sited, but having an anterior placenta is harder to judge than with posterior last time. There is some useful stuff on spinning babies re: figuring out which way round baby is, and although I am sceptical about inversions etc., making much difference, I do try to sit with bump forwards and legs akimbo when at desk at work, and spend plenty of time on hands and knees due to having a toddler.
Good luck and hope you get the delivery you want (CS isn't so bad btw, am strongly considering ELCS for this one unless it is optimally positioned as recovery was pretty good for me last time).

My dd was breech from 26 weeks I was constantly told baby will turn but I just had this feeling that she wouldn't and she didn't, loads of times the midwife said baby is head down but she was always wrong I could tell she was still breech I could feel her head. I had a section booked for 40+2 but went in to labour at 37+5 so had an emergency section which was fine and still a calm amazing experience :)
