Weird dizzy feeling

I'm 6 weeks officially (although as per my previous post I know I am actually 3 weeks).

I keep getting this weird dizzy feeling - like I am on a boat. Is this normal?

Also, no sickness at all as yet other than feeling slightly nauseous occasionally and a weird taste in my mouth.... and I am tired to my very core.

Sorry if this is a "you're not the first person in the world to have a baby" question - but I am so new to this! xx

That was one of my first and only symptoms. That, and sore boobs.

It was especially noticeable when I stood up very quickly or when i'd been rushing around a lot. It turns out I have low blood pressure which can be a factor I think.

Ahh that would be the answer as my blood pressure is always on the low side of normal.

My boobs are crazy tender too. Its not like pain as such but if someone brushed past me I may punch them involuntarily!

I almost want the morning sickness so I know there is still something happening in there! This limbo between positive tests and midwife appointment is so frustrating!

I got it a lot in the first few weeks, I remember being in a tube station and having it for the first time and being very weirded out by it. I have low blood pressure naturally, always have so I'm prone to feeling a bit wobbly at times. I'm now just over 15 weeks and still occasionally get it, just one of those odd pregnancy symptoms I guess.

Yep, the sore boobs are awful. We went out for dinner with friends and their 5 year old boy who was sat next to me punched me in the boob to get my attention! Shock Yowzers, that hurt - I nearly pushed the little b*gger of his chair! (Wouldn't actually do that obviously!)

It's probably worth mentioning the dizzyness to your midwife as I did, but I think it's relatively common.

I've had no morning sickness at all and it's worried me occasionally and I'm 17 weeks today so just lucky so far I guess. Bet I have a horrendous labour to balance the karma!

Ha ha oh no I'd rather take morning sickness than a bad labour!

I forgot myself last night and tried to lie on my front to go to sleep but I couldn't bear it!

Thanks for the advice xx

This was one of my first symptoms, it started about two days before I tested at 4.5 weeks. I'd be sitting still and suddenly would feel as if the whole room was tipping forwards. I put it down to a heavy weekend (had no idea I was pregnant :-S )

Also, I didn't go on to have terrible MS, so it won't necessarily signify this for you either.

Yep I was dizzy too. I had the whole "where is this morning sickness, I won't believe I'm pregnant until it comes", but then it did, and it was horrible. Please please enjoy your food while you can, and the feeling of moving in a car without needing a bag over your face!! It's not fun when/if it comes! Grin I had all-day nausea but I wasn't physically throwing up until I got to about 10 weeks. I actually preferred the throwing up because nausea is so debilitating, but it's all grim.
Congratulations!
