Me, DH and the bump are going for a week away somewhere in Europe when I will be 25-26 weeks.

Looking at Travel Insurance. Does being pregnant class as a "pre-existing medical condition"? Do I need to declare it?

Can anyone recommend a good single trip insurer?

You definitely must declare it. Otherwise if anything happens baby related you won't be covered!!

I would recommend Aviva. My dad recently got very ill in New Zealand and they were brilliant. Dad was in I tensile care for 10 weeks before he actually passed away out there. They were brilliant at looking after dad but also mum who was out there with him. They even paid for me to fly out to support mum for a couple of weeks. Were also wonderful and looked after everything when it didn't end as we had hoped x

Also, make sure you have an EHIC card: www.nhs.uk/NHSEngland/Healthcareabroad/EHIC/Pages/about-the-ehic.aspx

I've gone with aviva as they are very reasonable. Our single trip cover to USA was only about £50 despite me having a previous dvt and now on blood thinning injections due to pregnancy. I declared pregnancy too when I rang them and was advised that it is not classed as a medical condition. They will not cover birth, if you are that far gone, but would cover complications in early pregnancy. I'm only 12 weeks so its fine for us. Hope that helps x
