Well V you kinda have a conversation with someone like in real life, and if someone gives you advice it is good to then answer them. Have you bought a test from the chemist?

vvvvvvv · 20/09/2006 15:50

i do answer but i dont know when i have a message on here i dont wanna look at the pc all day long waiting. yes i did a test yesterday but came bk neg but have been getting a lot of discharge when i wipe myself and i have no infection ither

If negative and you have been having bleeding / spotting - think you need to come to terms with not being pregnant. I think last night you posted on another thread, saying you were desperate and alone, lots of people offered advice and comfort and not a word heard back.

usually, when you start a thread like that, the person posting would wait for answers and respond to the advice.not saying sit in front of PC all day, 20 minutes or so would be enough to have got some replies!!

i'd hassle the doctors for the blood test result - though iMO likely to be negative.

If TTC , then you might want to get some ovulation test sticks and use those. and see doc if really struggling to conceive.

lulumama · 20/09/2006 15:58

BTW - if stick to one thread, then you won't confuse yourself looking for the replies.

Nicola63 · 20/09/2006 16:01

Well, v, sorry that we thought you were not for real, but your behaviour in setting up multiple threads was odd. It is quite easy to see what threads you are on, just click "threads I'm on" at the top of the page and it will list them for you. Or it is really not difficult to scan down the page with all the Pregnancy threads on it and pick out yours. Anyway, if you now stick to this thread and let us know what is happening you will find that people will be supportive.

Your HCG result should really not be taking so long, I would complain about this if I were you (the actual test takes less than an hour, the results should be back the same day usually).

chipmonkey · 20/09/2006 16:18

Just to add, I did have brown discharge practically all the way through my pregnancy with ds3 but I did have a positive pregnancy test. It was very worrying though, ObGyn told me it could be a sign of an unstable pregnancy even though he could see a heartbeat on the scan.

lulumama · 20/09/2006 16:24

also, lots of clear mucus like discharge can be a sign of ovulation.

vvvvvvv · 20/09/2006 19:24

thanks for your help.i just wanna say i have a blood test thats why its taking so long.and the discharge cant be overlating coz its happening alot for two weeks now

Could it be thrush? And definately isn't any other infection? Have you had any swabs taken? How long have you been trying for?

lulumama · 20/09/2006 19:39

good point edie - also, when trying to conceive, you do become hyper aware of anything 'down below' so what might be normal every month suddenly becomes so important , IFYKWIM.

edie123 · 20/09/2006 19:43

Well they do say that any kind of unusual discharge needs to be looked into-nothing to be ashamed of. I get thrush loads and it's horrible but it does effect women that are trying to conceive. Think unfortunately you may have to come to terms with not being pg this month xx xx good luck

3andnomore · 20/09/2006 20:00

Edie, yes the Birthboard of that troll in the end hired one, on their own cost, as she had done more stuff then just pretending that her non existent Baby died....so, I suppose those people just felt they needed to know!
Extreme I know, but I mean, ffs...we held a complete forum silence for her as we all felt sorry for her...not just her Birthboard and other Boards she posted on!Some people eh!

vvvvvvv · 20/09/2006 20:00

so were is my period been for two months and why did i have brown stuff just twice when i wiped myself and i aint got any infections had the all clear and was told aint even got thrush.will let you all no the out come on fridayxx

3andnomore · 20/09/2006 20:07

Hmmm VVVVVV sorry if I accused you worngly...but well...sorry, I still don't know how you don't know when you posted and when someone is replying...I mean, afterall sometimes you manage...I would think that this is one of the most straightforward userfriendly forums....! Surely you know that you should look in the thread list, and surely there is a section on mumsnet that explains about how to use it?
Anywya, have answered several of your threads and given advice, which apparently you are unable to read...so, not gonna bother for now, sorry!
how to use the board
you just need to click on that!
to make it esier to find threads you are involved in
that link can be found on top of the messages! It's called "threads I am on"
HTH

edie123 · 20/09/2006 21:34

Sometimes periods do just go...esp if you are stressed out. I would say it is unusual for a preg test that is shop bought to be wrong, but who knows? I hope it says what you want it to.

edie123 · 20/09/2006 21:38

3andnomore

That's terrible, feel sorry for all those who had gone through it for real. I have just had a mc and it would have been really difficult to think that someone was on here lying about the death of a baby. How sad.

Very confused about this situ.

redz · 20/09/2006 21:40

Apologies "V" if I got you wrong, the last thing I would want to do is upset anyone but as everyone previously mentioned it was just a bit strange all the threads being posted.
If you are trying for a baby there is a chance that subconsciously you are stressing which could be why you have missed your period. When I was trying for baby I missed two periods did about 6 tests in a week all were bfn which was really upsetting.
Maybe you should buy another test and do it at home in between waiting for your blood test to come back? It may not be the result you want but at least you will have a better idea rather than just waiting till friday.
Sorry for doubting you again and od get back to us on friday and let us know how you get on.

chipmonkey · 20/09/2006 22:11

V, brown stuff is usually old blood. I was told that it could be due to a slow drip of blood or it could be a problem with the cervix.

chipmonkey · 22/09/2006 21:10

How are you doing v?

vvvvvvv · 22/09/2006 21:18

not good to be honest still waiting for the blood results called then today but said mon

VVVVVV - sorry if this sounds harsh but I don't think that anyone here on mumsnet can provide you with the answer you want or, for that matter, more than the good advice and helpful suggestions that you've been offered so far.

If you're still desperate for help and information, there is really only one person you should be asking for this now - your GP.
