Haven't you had that baby yet???

Does it bloody well look like it.. why do people ask the most stupid question when it's dam obvious that you haven't, and you would have contacted them if you had.. Im 4 days over and sick to death of these silly remarks..does anyone else have this problem, or is it just my family and friends?? aaaaahhhhhhhh

Know exactly how you feel tiddler, i was due with my first 14/09 but still waiting whilst answering th phone and replying to texts and e-mails all asking why i havn't had the baby yet, is it here, how much longer - its driving me crazy!! How ya doing anyway? i've started having pains today on and off so who knows (.........i'm terrified!!!!) xx

some spotty till boy asked me if I wasnt "too heavy" to be doing the shopping on my own as I obviously am about to "calf"...

needless to say I burst into tears and the lady on the customer services desk hopefully had a good hour or two putting my shopping back on the shelf... as I left the shop and didnt pay. Sat sobbing in my car about being a whale till DP realised I wasnt in the shop any more and came and found me.

Tiddler - good luck, have a nice rest, boring isnt it, but at least you can sit and finish a whole cup of tea at the moment without it getting cold.

Oh, also - my DP's ex girl friend (whome I loathe) was at a BBQ last weekend, she came up to me, all skinny, alcopop in hand

"Hey "Babes" (to me -air kiss-) So, do you know what your having yet?"

to my annoyance, everyone seemed to have asked so I replied,

"Kittens," and then I walked away.

the look on her face was quite amusing. She then asked one of my friends if I didnt like her or some thing? Idiot.

emzickle at stupid till boy - lucky not to have worn your shopping after that!

I get sick of the "are you sure it's not twins" comments from the same people over and over - particularly when they say "are you sure you're not eating for three" - No, I'm just f'ing hungry at lunch times (when I happen to be at work and surrounded by people watching my calori intake, it seems!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

Everyone has been pi**ing me off so much that I have now stopped replying to text's and phone calls.
Im due monday, and for the past 4 weeks it has been constant "any sign of the baby yet?" "any contractions?" I could go on and on but the comments have already been posted.
I mean I dont get it these are people who have children so shouldnt they know how we are feeling?

Well the story so far is this.. No i haven't had the baby and again today ive had messages from the persistant idiots via txt.. Spent quite a few hours in hospital last night and i am in slow labour.. so much so that it's stopped! Pains were bloody awfull, is it normal to have shooting pains up ya ......!!! By god it hurts!! Well anyway that went on and on til early hours, so we decided to come home in the end as there was no way we were going to get any sleep in there. Went out for a meal this afternoon had contractions all the way through.. back home and nothing, but off to hospital tom afternoon for a sweep.. which im really hoping will speed things on.!! By the way angelfaces.. have you had your baby yet??? xx

No baby at my end yet, 4 days overdue and the midwifes coming tomorrow morning to do an internal...ohhhhhhhhhh...tell me exactly what i should expect by that?! Baby feels very low today so maybe something may happen later, actually i think i may have to get upto some business later to try move things a long a bit and escape the internal!!!!....xx keep me updated tiddler! x

The trouble is, pregnancy / birth / babies wreck your brain. Before you know it, your youngest is 2 years old and you're standing chatting to a hugely pregnant stranger in the checkout queue at Tescos, and you open your mouth and you hear these words fall out ... "so, not long now then?".

Or is it just me?

Sorry Gingeme no i haven't Well went to hospital today for chat about being induced and sweep (which wasn't that bad really, just bit uncomfy, no worse than a smear, but didn't work for me as cervix too high..) and i am now being induced on weds all being well.. yyyiiipppeeeeee!!!!! How it going angelfaces?? have you had yours yet yes mine's well low to, are you finding it painfull?? x

No your good Gingeme, no worries still got to laugh.. or cry not sure which just now as my apt has just been cancelled now having it done sat at some point, we are so fed up, i feel like poo and they just don't seem to give two S**T'S. I can barely walk as in so much pain, Bloody NHS do my head in, know one knows there arse from there elbow, apologies if offending anyone, just had a gut full now... aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Oh bloody hell Tiddler what are they playing at! I did more or less the same with ds1 he went 10 days over and my feet were so fat I couldnt even wear my slippers. But the mw just said'well your blood preaaures fine and the baby isnt in any distress just go home and rest,. aaaagh I was so fed up and it was in May which was a very hot summer. I vowed never to do it again as he appeared only to do it again 16 months laterto another ds. But he was a doddle compared to the 1st one and he was born on the day he was due. ds no3 was early so who knows when this one will turn up.
Oh I realy hope something happens between now and Saturday. For your sanity if nothing else. All the best xxx

Cheers.. like i said i have pain everywhere, from up my..... to my bloody feet. Its agony, they make me laugh as when we saw them yesterday the lady was sure tomorrow was fine, but if not def fri, and now sat,which is confusing as they told us sat's were for emergency's only.. It bloody well will be at this rate that for sure.. i don't know if to laugh or cry or both, i can't even get out the house its all to much at this stage as all of you are aware, and i just feel like they are laughing at us, there's an excuse for everything every visit, and be sure i will be writing several letters of complaint (as and when i have the time between feeds) to our local surgery, my hospital and the bloody MP... every emotion at the moment.. sorry for the huge moan..

Well, no baby yet!!! Had the house all tidy today expecting the midwife sometime this morning, by afternoon i was getting well peed that she hadn't turned up and by about 2pm i glanced at my maternity notes to see i had actually mis-read them and its actually thursday she is coming!!! I was stressing all last night about having an internal too So i have 2 days now to make thing happen, as it is i'm not that uncomfortable apart from the baby being really low it feels as if its literally gonna drop when i walk around but everyone else is driving me crazy phoning and texting and e-mailing me every 2 mins asking where the baby is , anyhow keep me posted u lot and good luck incase anything happens soon!!!!!!!! xx

Here's hopeing hey angelfaces!!! Well best of luck for thursday then.. honestly you got nothing to worry about as i said it just a bit un-comfy part from that it ok, just like an internal examination really, Can't belive mine hasn't made an appearance yet, also same as you really low down now, going for another S+S tom afternoon.. oh joy something to look forward to hey. Yes ive had txt's today also, im just ignoreing them.. Can't be bothered anymore.x

11-09-06 went into hospital sat night and was in slow labour apparently which has now stopped altogether.. x

Oh bless, are you in pain then?? I've had braxton hicks every now and then but other than that nothing apart from feeling very heavy down there!! Its strange all that build up to my due date and them nothing happens...!

You could say that.. agony more like! Ya its bit disheartening hey, all that build up and not a sausage. What can you do.. helpless aren't we. Ya ive had quite a lot of Branston Picks, and the slow labour on sat which has come to an abrupt halt and now nothing other than back ache and sore bits, thing is everyone keeps telling me to rest, what the hell do they think ive been doing for the last 11 wks, i can't do anything other than that! Hope something happens soon..

Sounds like your little ones getting ready to make an appearance soon. Try to get some rest. Easier said than done I know but do try. Good luck and keep us posted. Tiddlers quiet hope thats a good sign xx
