39+5 Help! Is this a vomiting bug or prelabour?

My daughter had a vomiting bug at the beginning of the week which started with a very high temp of 39.2 and was then followed by 24 hours of being very sick. She's been absolutely fine since.
I am 39+5 and woke up at 3am last night (4 days later) feeling sick. Since then I've been sick 8 times and not able to keep anything down. I have presumed that I've caught my little girl's bug but after doing a bit of Googling (I know) it seems that vomiting consistently comes up regularly as a prelabour symptom. I don't have a temperature and I don't have any diarrhoea. Any thoughts? I know I will need to talk to a doc but it's Sunday and I'm panicking about it a bit now.
If it is a bug, my husband hasn't had it yet and therefore probably will get it and the thought of potentially bringing a newborn into a poorly household is upsetting and possibly dangerous. I also don't know what the hospital's policy on admitting a contagious lady into the labour ward would be.
Sorry for the essay.. Just wondering whether anyone experienced prelabour symptoms of lots of vomiting but no diarrhoea? Does it seem too much of a coincidence for it not to be my daughter's bug that I've caught?
I know I need to speak to a professional just seeing if anyone has their own experience to share.. Thanks.

4 days is at the upper limit of the incubation period for most D&V type bugs but is will within the period where it could easily be a bug.
I would have thought that given that you have what sounds like quite a sudden onset of an episode of acute vomiting following your daughter having a similar bug, it is most likely that you have caught her bug. The fact that she had a fever and you don't doesn't mean its a different thing.
You catch these germs from the vomit itself so scrupulously bleach the toilet and bathroom, boil wash towels and clothes etc and wash your hands prolifically and hopefully it won't spread beyond you. You will have caught it either from being close to your daughter when she was vomiting or from cleaning up the vomit afterwards. Alcogel doesn't kill lots of these germs - doesn't work on the norovirus for instance, you have to actually wash the germs off, so keep up the handwashing....
Poor you - hopefully it will pass soon. Not giving it to your DH is obviously a priority.
The GI contractions of a violent stomach upset could trigger labour, but hopefully it will pass and you will have a few days to recover before the baby comes.
Good luck!

Thanks so much for your reply Claire2774, it makes a lot of sense.
In other developments, my daughter has just suddenly been sick. Twice! No idea what to think now other than it must be a new bug. She doesn't have a temperature either and seems otherwise fine in herself. I haven't been sick in the last 3 hours and feeling generally a lot better now.
Have spent the whole day either feeling sick, being sick or cleaning up sick. Worst day ever!

I was sick, but only during labour. I did gave a vomiting bug a couple if weeks ago and very different. I felt very ill, horrid stomach cramps etc.

Use different hand towels so you don't infect OH. Detol do an aerosol spray that you don't wipe but disinfects the area. B&Q sell it.

Thank you Lozmatoz. DH due back from work any minute and I suspect he will be only too pleased to have a reason to escape this germ pit and flee to B&Q!
