Uch I'm 36+1 and dp has left me again this evening for work, he has only just got back from being away in warmer climates playing soldier, we've had 3 maybe 4 days together and now he has gone away AGAIN for 3 weeks :(

I'm so fed up he literally left minutes ago but now I'm just lonely again. I hate sleeping in a empty bed, and my hormones aren't helping.

Sorry for the moan.

Sending hugs

I'm terrified of going in to labor and him not being able to get to me :(

Just wanted to say I get the loneliness too really bad. Going straight from school to uni to being a sahm was a massive shock. It does get easier though. My husband works all the time . Do you have your mum close by?

Boudica1990 · 15/07/2014 16:38

I do yes, without giving much away I live with my mum and nan but not in the same property, I have a property within the grounds of the main house.

I pop in to the big house in the evenings but then I have to go to bed and I hate it :( I know I'm being pathetic.

No advice but it is really sweet to read your thread - to be honest after 25 years of marriage I crave the weeks my DH is away on business Grin.

Aww it's not pathetic at all. You can't help feeling that way. I wish I had any advice other than just it does get easier and your life just gets more and more busy. I hate sleeping in an empty bed too and hate it after ive put ds to bed ... but that's just my me time now. I do Cbt, paint my nails, read books/magazines, browse MN! Someone suggested pregnancy DVDs to me yesterday on my thread which I never thought of but sounds like a good way to kill an hour. the days are much better with the little one at the age he is.
Hope that helps xx

Haha if it wasn't constant away I probably would, but I only see DP Friday evenings to Monday and that's when he's in the country.

Also after being in a DV marriage I am admittedly overly attached to DP, he is everything a man should be, he really does treat me like a princess Blush and is the exact polar opposite of my ex and has really instilled and alow me to realise what a "correct" relationship is with mutual trust and respect. I do embarrassingly adore the man Blush

Awww that's sad, I don't know if I could cope if my DP was away so much. ?? and so near the end of ur pregnancy! Will he have some decent paternity leave once bubby is here?

Boudica1990 · 15/07/2014 21:14

Depending on method of delivery 2 weeks if I have a vaginal birth, but if I end up with a EMCS they will give him 6 weeks, but I am hoping he can take some leave to add on to the 2 weeks together as he is owed some.
