I am having my fourth baby just found out im 7 weeks pregnant. Im 36 and had my other three children in my twenties so Im finding things very different this time. Im having symptoms I have never had like morning sickness and cravings and im so tired all the time nodding off as soon as I sit down. Im getting a lot of tummy cramps as if Im going to start a period is this normal ? I dont remember having this with any of my others . Many thanks if anyone answers xx

Congrats!!!

Morning sickness normal, should tail off by 14 weeks but can last longer.

Cravings normal, I ate nothing but noodles for a week!!!

Nodding off at the drop of a hat, very normal!!! I'm 25 weeks and still need to have a nap in the afternoon.

Finally cramps are normal. It's just your uterus stretching and getting ready for baby getting bigger. If pain gets worse or any bleeding seek medical advice as a precaution.

Hope this helps.

It's fine. Every pregnancy is different so just relax. This is only my first but I when I first found out, I was comparing it to everyone elses. I eventually just worked out what is normal for me and this baby. I didn't see my midwife until I was 10 weeks but had seen my GP, who gave me all the useful phone numbers such as the EPU.

Will also say the ladies on mumsnet are some of the best support, question answerers and sounding boards around.
