When I bought my Mothercare pushchair it came with a free change bag with change mat inside it. It has various pockets on the outside which fit all sorts of things and the main bag is big enough to fit spare clothes, nappies, toys etc. I never needed anything else, so if you haven't bought your 'wheels' yet it might be worth looking at that first.

5 years on this bag now lives in my car full of spare knickers, socks and trousers for unexpected accidents!

Sorry - meant to add - it was actually big enough for most of my hospital gear too (admittedly I travel a lot lighter than most).

if you join boots parenting club you get lots of vouchers and freebies including a huggies kit when you buy a pack of nappies. includes a large bag with a mat, 2/3 seperate compartments and 2/3 samller pockets its really good if you dont mind the branding,, or you can cover it (the branding) up with a badge.. alot cheaper!!!

Well done Jenny - I'd forgotten how great Boots is. I racked up so many points on my Boots Card for buying nappies (washable ones too!) that it paid for a steriliser unit and a breast pump for lazy baby no. 2!
