Am I squishing my LO when in bed?

Hi everyone.

I was just wondering if I'm right to worry about this or not.

I'm 33+5 with a huge, "all-front" bump. When my Alien kicks me I can feel it right down by my left hip and right up by my right ribs. Whichever side I lie on when in bed I feel like I'm squishing him/her, a hand or a foot or something, or even his head (which I suspect is what I'm feeling by my right hip). I try and sort of sleep half on my back and half on my side, propped up on a pillow, which is not comfy. I'm having major trouble sleeping as it is with restless legs and severe hip pain and pelvic girdle pain. If I sleep fully on my side I find myself sort of leaning towards my bump. Should I carry on propping my back up or stop worrying?
I have one of those enormous pillows that surround you.

Thank you.

Stop worrying. The baby is in an enormous cushion of water.

I was worried my waters were low because of how blatantly obvious his movements are to see and feel. It feels like he's right there up front with nothing cushioning him. It really is like that scene in Alien when he pushes up a knee or fist or something. I take great delight in freaking out work colleagues.

Well, if you have concerns about fluid levels do get checked out. Always best to be cautious. But that is quite common. My mum says she could easily identify which body part I was sticking out when she was expecting me Grin

And there was me worried because I couldn't see hands/feet at 29 weeks! Grin Apparently I should, according to all the online week-by-week things.
