I just wanted to see how other PG ladies are going. I am 26 week+ and on Saturday had the worst day so far when I spent the entire day blubbing and could have entered a wet t'shirt competition!

Monday was great full of energy and raring to go!

Today back to normal lethargic, 'cant be asked' self!

Oh yes. I've had some of this. Had a bad nights sleep on saturday due to noisy neighbours and on sunday I was a total fruit loop. I just didn't feel right. Went to DP's flat, he jokingly asked me to make brekkie and that was it. I ended up sat outside his flat in my car, sweating, then crying then pulling myself togtether for a good 2 hours! Madness. Monday was full of beans. Today just fed up and bored! Great aint it!!!

I know how you both feel..!! I'm also suffering with nd from dd's birth as well as pregnancy hormones as currently 19 weeks.

DH commented on Sun " God you were never as bad as this with dd". Yeah thanks for the commments.! My reply was " Well you suffer with pnd and then have someone get you pregnant, carry another dc for 9 months while managing a 15 month old and lets see what your hormones are like". Think he wished he'd not mentioned it..!

Men do get off lightly though .

32 weeks pregnant and almost decked my DH last night for eating half a sausage before I'd dished up! ........so feeling slightly irrational right now.

Later he was foolish enough to comment that it felt like I'd been pregnant for ages! Oh...poor you!

Then he had the nerve to fall asleep as soon as his head touched the pillow (and snore) while I tried to position myself comfortably for at least 45 minutes!

well dh is off to the pub tonight to watch the match...mmmm promises of giving up booze for 9 months are defo a blur now..well more of a blur for him when he gets home tonight.

Men seem to think they have it so bad and so stressful..they should try doing without a bottle of wine for a week let alone 9 months. As well as carrying around an extra body.

Anyone else's dh still drink and it drives you mad.?

I have to say my DH is a saint! Dont want to brag but I am so lucky I have him.

He works 4am to 11am, while I stay home with DD (nearly 3) then he takes me to work (I dont drive) and looks after DD in afternoon while I work for 5 hours. He normally takes her to the park or plays in the garden, incorproating some chores like tidying house of weeding. Then he picks me up at 5pm and we go home we either cook together or he does it while I rest and play with DD, we wash up together. Then he baths her - he doesnt want me bending over the bath while pregnant. Then I read stories and put her to bed, then we watch TV or I go e-baying, he makes me a hot drink and brings me biscuits then we go to bed about 10! Writing this I have just realised I owe him a night out and lots of attention - am a very lucky girl indeed!

Wow! Redlorry75, sounds like you've got a good egg for a DH! Can we clone him?! My DP is very understanding and just left me to it on sunday, he came out after about 30 minutes to see if I was ok and said its understandable with hormones etc.

Redlorry75 · 06/09/2006 16:52

DH did'nt really get the whole crying thing on Saturday and just kept out of my way, reassuring DD and watching footie, but in terms of practical help I cannot complain, and he's always there for a nice cuddle too.

When you try and explain to a man that your hormaones are responsible all they seem to do is roll their eyes - I dont think they even have 1 hormone in their entire bodies - if they did they'd be in big trouble

My DP worries that my pants are too tight and bub is getting squashed but he doesn't mind me stood in the kitchen making tea for hours! My DP seems to have changed a bit since I got pregnant, hes much more patient and considerate now!

Hi ladies, im 39wks and ive been on a rollercoaster from day one, felt bloody awful the whole time, it's just been one thing after another, from crap mw to awful varicose veins to work telling me that they may not pay me smp.. (got it in the end though)..amazing what people try on when your pregnant, obviously they think were a bit tapped!! feel like it's never going to end!! Im laughing lots at your comment Lizzie4 that's the kind of thing i would do!! It can be the stupidist of things that does it.. but enough's enough don't you agree. Still not long now.. Come on little one .. pppllleeeaaassseee!!!!!! x

Redlorry75 · 06/09/2006 20:03

I wont take back what I said about DH as he really is a diamond, however got in car to come home from work to find him in nice cool clothes and poor DD sweating in t'shirt and skirt I put her in this morning - I told him before I went to work to change her if weather improves.
Also he broke her slide!!! He was getting it out for her and pulled the weakest part, so no poor little might has a bit of a gloried climbing frame. As I said not taking back earlier glowing comments, just wished common sense would shine through occasionally!

don't get me wrong dh is usually a saint and is so considerate but suppose my hormones do get the better of me.!!
