Then I asked about moving my c section date a week because I can't carry om and she said no she won't survive then asked me about headaches etc I said yes but had it for weeks then she said why didn't you say so before err if you read my notes it does say She then sent me to hospital for pet bloods urine fine bp ok pointless waste of time all ok, I then asked her about how lon I'll be in after c section bearing in mind I'll b on celexain bp pills complex c section she said 2 days including c section day ok and imsupposed to cope with a nearly 4 year old and a newborn after major surgery hmmmm soz for the rant and long post

Maybe being preemptive is the only way to go in future appointments. "I have multiple reasons for being referred to you including a relatively rare blood disorder. I would appreciate it if you could have a quick read of my notes now before we discuss matters." (or similar) at the start of the appointment might avoid any further assumption making happening.
Don't worry about being 'British ' about it, your health and that of your unborn child are at risk if mistakes are made and that trumps manners any day.

Yes I do what Amy suggests, I bullet point anything they need to know in a note pad and politely say at the start "I'm sure you know this already but just in case, in my note's you'll find XYZ and that I've been seen by XYZ..." just so they know in advance!

Thankyou seeing sumone in 4 weeks for the last time after my scan, my hubby is trying his best to attend with me he works for money vans so time in the day is hard for him, he's very supportive of me and we have been trying for 18 months for this baby so any harm or potential harm is very unwanted, I am forcing my self to eat at the mo on suggestion of consultant I have put on just under a stone this time so I must be eating! I can't be,ieve she didn't read the notes and I think the trip to hospital was un called for as id had sa,me symptoms for about 10 weeks even midwife doing bps etc said it was ridiculous
