I've started another thread where I'm pretty sure I'm pregnant but I'll wait for doctor confirmation next week, but if I am (I'm in shock denial I think, of course I must pregnant) I'm already concerned how the abdominal separation (AS) I have from my last pregnancy 5 years ago might affect this pregnancy and birth.
Basically, I've still looked 5 months pregnant these last few years. I did the 30 Day Shred (once
) and it visibly shrunk the pot belly in a week, but I never kept it up. So I know it can be 'repaired'.
I also had a prolapse which is semi protruding, so along with that I know my core muscles are shot to peices. If I am pregnant, I anticipate this will be torture for my back.
I'd like to hear from anyone who's had a pregnancy after AS and how/if it affected their pregnancy.
I'd also like your views on whether you think it will affect the birth. I've had natural births before (one hospital, one home) and I'm wondering if I should go for elective c section this time because of the AS.
