drink more water, and have little snacks often - that might help.

may be worth going getting your blood pressure checked, how far pregnant are you?

I was having bad headaches, I'm now 20 weeks. Went to docs when they got so bad they were sending me to bed for 2 days!

Mine turned out to be a sinus infection. I think headaches are common in earlyish pregnancy. It could be BP related though its very very unlikely at this stage of pregnancy - worth checking it out just in case.

The thing that seemed to help me was 4head, its a kind of menthol gelstick , about 4 quid from Boots. Worked like magic and safe in pregnancy.

Hi,
I have thankfully never suffered from headaches (apart from after quite a serious night on the wine!) I'm now in my 2nd pregnancy, and like you have had ongoing spates of headaches - it's so frustrating only being able to take paracetamol, which doesn't do much at all. I've found that drinking lots of water or herbal tea and having a lie down with eyes closed - even if only for 10 mins - has helped a bit. The Dr said it's quite normal for women to suffer headaches in pregnancy, so doesn't necessarily mean there's anything 'wrong' - I would have your blood pressure checked just to be on the safe side though. I'm now 22 weeks and have found they have eased up quite a bit over the last couple of weeks - so hopefully you won't have to endure your entire pregnancy this way!
