Is it true that morning sickness gets worse each pregnancy?

Just me wondering ,I had morning sickness with first preg.which wasn,t pleasant but copeable with as long as ate reg.etc.& remember it tailing off a bit round 16wks mark. But with 2nd preg. it was horrendous if I wasn't being sick ,I was dry wretching all day & all night.Had to get Buccastem( anti nausea drug ) in end which helped a bit but still had constant queasy feeling & sick right up till day went into labour.I t didn't let up any trimester!Anyway have read & heard that if u suffer morning sickness it will get worse each pregnancy( think it was Mother & baby mag. I read it in!)just wondering ,has anyone suffered bad morning sickness with one pregnancy & then went on to have another preg. with no or very little sickness(or vica versa)
Incidently the preg. when I had really bad sickness was dd & one where not too bad was ds.Is it myth that sex of baby relates to how sick u are or not?
Anyway as I said just me being curious as I have never not suffered it & always think when speak to friends or relatives who are expecting & have never had or felt morning sickness that it must be heaven!

Had mild nausea for about 20 weeks with first 2 pregnancies - both DSs

Was horribly, horribly ill with third, I was really over sensitive to smell, even the smell of my own skin would make me heave - that was DD.

I thought you got more sick with girls and multiple pregnancies because there is more pregnancy hormone (HCG?) going around? People have different sensitivities to it though.

Before I had my MC I knew something wasn't right as I had no sickness at all, and that wasn't normal for me.

I had no sickness at all with dd!

AWFUL constant heartburn though and was told i was gonna have a hairy baby......which i did.

Full head of black hair and on body! (BUT was obviously gorgeous)

I didn't get sick with any of mine until 8-10 weeks then horribly horribly sick right the way through with all but the last one. I think the first (only DD) was slightly worse than the others, but having said that, BEING sick is better than that constant feeling of nausea that won't go away!

I didn't have any sickness with my first pregnancy and haven't had any with this pregnancy either. Both girls.

My mum had me and then my brother and she didn't have any sickness with either of us, so different genders didn't make a difference to her.

My cousin was terribly sick with her first, a girl and not so sick with her second, a boy.

I was terribly nauseous with first (a girl) - I can remember going into work on the Piccadilly Line to Holborn and wondering how many stops I would make before I had to do a mad dash up the escalators! and how many people would just think I was hungover!

I had no sickness at all with second (a boy) but with both labours I started throwing up the minute my contractions started and didn't stop till they were born. Don't know what that was all about but apparently it can happen to some people! Apparently, there was a recent study (can't remember where) that said that those who have suffered from travel sickness are at a greater risk of morning sickness....

Not planning on more anyway but I was horrible sick during my pregnancy with DD Was sick every day at least one, and felt nauseous all day from week 5 to 14 (ish).
