SOOOOOO uncomfortable - please help!

Hi everyone. Please can anyone answer my question...
I am 25 weeks pregnant with 2nd child and I have thrush. It has come on so quick I have made myself so sore over night, and I need treatment now. My GP arent open until Tues (cuz of bank hol) and I can't go and wait 3 hours in my local walk in center or a n e, as to make it worse its my sons 2nd birthday today and have a house full of people coming round for a party later!
Has anyone recently had thrush treatment at around 25 weeks pregnant, tell me what is safe to use at this stage of pregnancy PLEASE so I can run into asda pharmacy to purchase some (I know if I just walk in and ask, they'll take one look at bump and refuse to serve me saying go and see gp!)

Can u speak to the out of hours Dr? If not and u want a home remedy to relieve the itch/pain (but prob won't get rid of it) i found washing down below with a teaspoon of bicarb of soda mixed into a small container of water really helped. Crouch in the bath and splash it about! I think douching is advised against when pg but i did it. Eventually had to give in though and get a canestan pessary (don't use applicator).

Pessaries are fine and cream is, i know its costly but nip tescos or somewhere and get one. It should tie you over till docs. Its only first trimester that the docs are concerned about but no pills.

I've been prescribed can eaten combi (pessary and cream) 3 times during pregnancy so that's definitely fine to use

You could go to a local pharmacy and ask, otherwise try out of hours GP?

Or home remedies - plain live yogurt applied topically & consumed (not the same spoonful obviously) can help!

Get a friend or DP to get some canesten cream and pessary for you, don't bother asking for it yourself as they won't serve you.

The pessary is best put in over night though as once it starts to break down it does get rather leaky!

Boots pessary and cream explicitly says on it that it's safe in pregnancy but you may want to avoid using the applicator, just use pop it in yourself. Even canesten doesn't say on it to avoid in pregnancy any more.
