Any pregnancy success stories after chemical pregnancy/ early miscarriage? Need some hope

I'm just in the middle of my second early miscarriage in 5 months. Has anyone got any stories of successful pregnancies that didn't need intervention (progesterone supplements etc) after chemical pregnancies? I am losing hope and at a really low ebb right now.

I had a mc around 5 weeks in February last year. We had taken 18 months to get to that point. It turns out I have an underactive thyroid which luckily enough i had my blood testing for at the same time as the mc. Once I was put on medication in July I conceived six weeks later and am now at 37+6 with a big baby girl. The mc was just one of the many side effects of the thyroid problem but I needed no intervention as such to get pg again. Good luck [thank]

Should be one of these! Thanks

I had a chemical pregnancy in December, I didn't ovulate in January and then in February - bingo!! I felt some comfort that I then knew I could conceive and just had to wait for 'my time'. It will happen for you. You have every right to feel sad but when you can turn a corner and feel positive try and hold onto that. I spent the first 10 weeks of this pregnancy waiting for it to go wrong, going to the loo every 5 minutes expecting to see blood, I was a nervous wreck at the scan and it kind of ruined the excitement for me. When you get there, and you will get there, enjoy it. See you in the antenatal boards soon. xx

I have Antiphospholipid Antibody Syndrome (Hughs syndrome) and am on clexane and aspirin.

In my case the clotting issues always start about 2 or 4 days after implantation - leading to very early loss or weeks of pain later, complex MMC.

This is why I cannot stress highly enough not to refer to 4+ weeks miscarriages as "chemical". A consultant might take for granted this was confirmed. They then might miss what to test for: as the initial implantation can be fine with the problems starting days after.

Squizita thank you Smile I was tested for that twice as my cousine has it but hopefully St. Mary's will recheck. That is if I ever get an appointment. I was referred there 2 months ago and still no appointment. Did you have to call them to get yours?
Also when did they tell you to start with you injections? From ovulation or BFP?

Yes, had an early MC at 5/6 weeks and got pg four months later without having a period in between. No intervention, apart from a healthy diet.

Currently holding an 11 day old baby girl. Smile Good luck OP, it is a horrible horrible time of not knowing and feeling out of control but hopefully you will get a happy ending soon.

Thanks

SWLondon mine took a couple of months to come through. You can ring them and ask to speak to Yash if you're worried, she will be able to say how your referral is getting on.
I injected from BFP (got the prescription that day). :) Took an early digi test so it was about 4 weeks.

Thank you everyone for your stories and kind words, they are so helpful. I'm currently awaiting the results of my blood tests, so I am a bit nervous.

Bloods all normal except she thought I had 1 kind of blood protein level that was a bit low so doctor is referring me to a Gynae now as she is unsure. A bit of a problem though, I've just gotten a positive pregnancy test 3 weeks after my v. Early miscarriage so I'm pregnant again. I ovulated 8 days after I started miscarrying and now I'm 12dpo and just got my BFP. I'm taking 75mg baby aspirin as a precaution. Any extra advice? Should I contact my doctor?

I am sorry to hear about your loss. I had a MC in Feb/March 2013. It was heart breaking and still upsets me now. But, there is hope. I am currently 38 and I fell pregnant really quickly following the MC with no form of intervention. Our DD was born NYE.

I hope all works out for you. Sending you my best wishes. Thanks
