Badger net

My nhs, is currently changing over to the new I pad, badger net paper free notes. The only issue being that in my paper notes they state things like "updated on badger net" "see badgernet" thing is, I now don't have access to my notes as the patient app isn't available yet, so when midwives write "see badgernet" I can't. They don't have the facility yet. Also I've yet see one person actually walk around with an I pad to write up these said notes, nor have they checked the badgernet when they have seen me, just getting the feeling things are being over looked and I'm missing out. Anyone else having issues?

You have the right to ask for a print out of your own records. Just ask - ring your MW team and ask, they can post them or you collect?

...bearing in mind you are meant in theory to carry them everywhere, in case you are taken ill, they should give you something anyway? Otherwise if a pregnant woman got her bag snatched and fainted/knocked her head, they'd be clueless re her care!

I get the need to change to paperless, but I now don't have access to my notes as, health professionals aren't writing them down and I am unable to view them myself as the system isn't fully up and running yet. The thing is its a difficult pregnancy and I've had a few a and e admittions and they aren't on the system either. So no paper notes or electronic ones.

Just found out that gp's don't have access either just midwives. Think that's pretty rubbish really, no paper copy or electronic for them, or a and e for that matter.
