Losing weight during first tri

I had a BMI of about 19-19.5 when I got pregnant.

Since then (currently 6wks) I've had zero appetite and strong nausea and have lost weight. I've been reading that being underweight when you get pregnant is associated with a big risk of miscarriage, and am concerned that my weight loss is going to push me into the 'underweight' category (BMI of under 18.5) and therefore increase my risks.

Does anyone know anything about this? It's not the fact that I'm losing weight per se (since obviously a lot of women must do due to MS), it's more the fact that it'll make me an unhealthy weight.

I'm not entire sure about the risks but my BMI was 15.5 pre pregnancy. I'm now 14 weeks and have got to 18.5 so just about normal. My MW didn't say anything at my booking appointment about a higher chance of MC, just that due to my pre-preg weight, I will get 2 or 3 extra scans to keep an eye on bumps development.

A lot of women do loose a bit of weight in the first tri due to MS and if it pushes you into the underweight category don't panic too much, you will soon put it back on.
