Hi :) I'm currently 28 weeks, 3 days pregnant. I had a 28 week growth scan on Tuesday at exactly 28 weeks. Everything seemed fine. The baby is growing correctly and there was nothing said. When I saw the midwife after the scan she said something about my placenta. I didn't understand what she meant, but I thought that I would check my notes when I go home and can see from there. I don't understand what it means. It says 'Anterior placenta, not low. However there is a small accessory lobe on the posterior wall which appears to touch the internal os. Rescan at 34 weeks to re-assess'. I've tried to research but I keep getting different things. I was wondering if anyone understands what it means, or even what part of it means. Sorry if I sound stupid!!
Thank you :)
