Early back pain... Can anything be done?

I am 12 weeks pregnant. To begin with, I was all over achy (like flu) but particularly my back and hips but now that's turned into something altogether more monsterous that has me walking like a very oldlady and not sleeping. It also seems to have aggravated an old injury to my coccyx which is pretty eye watering.
My question is, to those who've had back pain from this early, can a chiropractor or osteopathic etc do anything? Or is it just one of that loooong list of pregnancy symptoms that have to be liked or lumped? Please someone tell me a positive story!!

Yes get help- my spd started just after you, physio has been great but my friend swore by her chiropractor- I think some specialise in anti natal so worth looking into. You don't need to suffer and in my experience pressure will get worse as baby grows! Also get a pregnancy pillow my dream genii has been amazing at night!

I've been seeing a physio since 13 weeks.. My GP referred me. I have previous back injuries which has caused me to suffer with hip pain. It's been a life saver, I've gone from being unable to walk to managing normal day to day activities, minus any heavy lifting.

Paracetamol, alternating ice and hot water bottles with a belt for my hips when I'm active, along with a physio appt every 2 weeks has worked for me. I notice immediately if I don't follow this routine.

I've had this since 8 weeks :-( feel like someone has kicked me up the arse with a boot and I've been crying with pain. GP referred me to physio. My advice and the only thing that helps me is to keep moving!
