What is the latest stage of pregnancy you can fly at? And I know this is daft considering i've already been through one pregnancy - but how many weeks does a full pregnancy last - i've obliterated it from memory!!

In the UK we say 40 weeks but in France they say 41 weeks (for the pregnancy that is!)
I have just been on holiday and had to change my travel insurance as I was not insured past 26 weeks and we had to extend it to 28 weeks... so I think afer 28 weeks you struggle to get travel insurance and if you already have TI then you must tell them you are pregnant as it is a condition.
Not sure all airlines have the same policy.

Just checked Easyjet's policy for my own sake :
Expectant mothers can be accepted for travel up to 27 weeks (inclusive) without a medical certificate. When travelling between 28 - 35 (inclusive) weeks a medical certificate confirming the number of weeks of pregnancy is required confirming that the passenger is fit to fly.

Pregnant passengers cannot be accepted for travel on or after week 36, and therefore all return sectors must be completed no later than week 36. All medical certification must be supplied by a doctor - medical certificates completed by a registered midwife cannot be accepted.

Depends on the airline (so check with them) but the common pattern is that they won't let you fly after 36 weeks for a singleton, 34 weeks for multiples. After somewhere around 27/28 weeks they'll want a note from your doctor confirming your EDD and that you are OK to fly.

I was 32 weeks when we flew KLM to amsterdam - I got a docs note and they did not even look at it - having said that - I really did not look that far gone.

I am flying back to New Zealand from London when I am 34 weeks pregnant. The airline I am flying with will take me until I am 36 weeks - other airlines only go to 32 weeks. I have looked into flying when in the last trimester quite thoroughly and have got the impression that it is safe as long as you don't travel if you have complications, wear support stockings to prevent DVT, and drink lots of water (I am booked in to an aisle seat as I am sure to be sprinting to the loo every 5 minutes). Also travel insurance will generally not cover you after 28 weeks.
