Hi everyone, sorry if I'm asking an obvious question but I'm only 8 weeks pg and MS is driving me mad.
I'm not being sick as such but it lasts near enough all day. I never had that with my first pregnancy so I don't know what to do.
I looked on the internet and found things like preggie pops, sea band and an anti MS aromatherapy stick, but do you have to buy them online or can you find them at a normal chemist or Boots etc...? I looked at the Boots website and couldn't find anything.
It's just that I need instant relief.
Thanks in advance to you all.

Yeah it is a nightmare when you have to wait for delivery etc. Try normal lollies in the meanwhile.
BTW I found the raspberry ones worked better for me. Some flavours made me feel worse esp ginger but then again I couldn't and still can't stomache ginger.

I also found trebor anniseed sweets worked..Atm boiled sweets in general help me.

Boiled sweets (esp lemon travel sweets - the ones in the tin with all the icing sugar) and lollipops are all that has worked for me. As long as I'm sucking on something it seems to keep the sickness at bay during the day. I also keep a bunch of grapes on my desk and in my bag.

I'm 13 wks now, but a fortnight ago I had to take a week off work - I had to remain horizontal and next to a bucket. Don't fight it if you feel really bad, your GP will sign you off if nec.

Oh, your poor thing! I have suffered too and know how miserable it is. I'm nearly 12 weeks now and thought I had finally got past it but just spent all weekend throwing up again (although not feeling queasy). Things that helped me (a bit!):

Bland carbohydrates - plain boiled rice, mashed potato, rice cakes, crackers, plain Rich Tea biscuits.
Lemon and ginger tea
Noodles (Pot Noodles or Super Noodles)
Baked beans

Try not to let yourself get too hungry, and eat small amounts but regularly. If nothing else, it's less grim to bring up a small amount of food than a whole stomach full!

Hi TidyJane

this also may seem obvious but the one thing that affects my MS the most is the amount of sleep I get. If I get a good nights sleep, its a lot more managegable and then I can manage the MS by always having a small amount of food in my tummy. So am going around with a spare bananas, some biscits and some soft liquorice (from Holland and Barrett - great cure for constipation as well as being delicious) in my bag. Also, sipping water constantly seems to help. If I don't get 8-10 hours sleep at the moment, I feel really ill all day. I to had to take some days off work at about 9/5 weeks, as I couldn't function at work.

Hope some of the tips work for you
