Bloody Hell. Pregnant 8 weeks after giving birth? or Leftover hormones?

I know we should have followed advice but...have had unprotected sex twice since my daughter was born, first time was 2 1/2 weeks ago (second couldn't have resulted in pregnancy just yet). I had two faint but unmistakably positive tests in the evening last night, on two different brands. I took one on Saturday which was negative. Even despite this negative one, could this be left over hormones from previous pregnancy? or is it more likely to be an early but new pregnancy? The information is very mixed when I google - some say 2-3 weeks. others say 2 months for test to remain positive after birth. Aside from the bollocking I'm probably going to get from my doctor, its not a bad thing if I am pregnant again - I'm married and we wanted another child quite close to my daughter in age. Just not yet would have been ideal!

Congratulations! I can't be the only one who think it's amazing you were up for sex so soon after birth?! Please don't let my DH read this!!

I was getting positive pregnancy tests for 11weeks after my lo was born which made me think I was pregnant but it was actually just left over hormones (but my hormone levels were ridiculously high all the way through my pregnancy I had severe hyperemesis)

I’m 8 weeks postpartum and have had unprotected sex since I was 4weeks pp. yesterday and today I have been spotting pink/brownish dishcharge only when I wipe. Once it was red but only a penny size amount and only when I wiped.i have mild cramping nothing serious. Could I be pregnant, or is my first pp period about to start?

If you are pg, get yourself down to Next & buy two 'born in 2014' babygro's (in appropriate sizes) for the end of the year. What a fab Xmas card photo that would make!

Congratulations on the pregnancy op! On a side note, I don't know how some of you can muster the courage to get pregnant so very soon after birth!! I've got a 7 week old baby, and although I'd love another, and close in age, I'd be terrified of having 2 such young children to look after!

Hello I’m about to be 8weeks postpartum the 29th of this month! I had a expired pregnancy test And decided test myself for the fun of it And it came out positive! Went to the store to buy new one and the line is very light already have an appointment set up with doctor jus was wondering if anyone else went thru something similar!! I’m hoping I’m not pregnant!
