high BMI and 4D scans

Has anyone had one with a high BMI, and I don't mean ladies who had one too many mince pies at Christmas ;)
My OH has just told me he's got one booked for tomorrow as my Valentine's gift. But now I'm really worried as visibility has been a little limited at my NHS scans.
Help!

I have a 4d scan booked for Monday, partly because I want to see her again but mostly because she was in the wrong position at 20 weeks and they were unable to confirm that all heart chambers ok. I have a bmi of 30. Overweight women have scans all the time. The NHS make you feel like shit and scrawl all over your scan notes high bmi etc...I'm sure the clinic you go to tomorrow will be lovely. Our pictures may not be as clear as those with a bmi of 20 but I'm prepared for that...at least they'll be sensitive about it.

I went to have a private gender scan and because she couldn't get any decent pictures as he had his backside to the camera actually showed me the 3D picture on the screen - no visibility problem whatsoever. Still a very awkward shot of his profile because of bad positioning but no other issue.

We have another check-up booked next month with 3D and I'm looking forward to it. I'm sure if it was an issue they'd put it on their webpage into the description.

That's a very good point beewitched, iv just looked all through the website and there's nothing on there.

In my experience a private scan is a much nicer / happier experience than an nhs one - atb.

I had one and my bmi was 35 :)
