I'm only 16 weeks pregnant but the sleepless nights have started already. Not helped by my husband snoring all night! We don't have a spare room so no where to go. This is the 4th night now and I'm done in! Got a very excitable toddler running around so no rest for me again!
Does anyone know if their are any sleeping pills that are safe in pregnancy?

Oh I feel your pain with a snoring partner! Try ear plugs from boots or get to sleep before him?
I'm not sure about sleeping pills though hun.

I wear eye plugs and go to bed about 2 hours before Him but that doesn't seem to help. It's loud!! He doesn't always do it but just at the moment wow it's bad!

Hello nomorepeppapig
I can offer you a solution of sorts, the absolute best ear plugs on the market are sold by the British Snoring and Sleep apnoea association, they have an online shop, they are called snore calm foam plugs. Shop bought ones are hopeless, I've tried them all. They're pink and yellow, very comfy in ear, and are absolutely brilliant. Only problem is that I find them useful only for one night per pair, I have a box of them on my bedside table. I promise its worth 10 quid for 30 pairs. Good luck, from the wife of a snorer x
PS they deliver so quickly its amazing!

For what reason are you not sleeping? Anxiety? Restless legs? Uncomfortable brackets?

I used to suffer from sleepless nights, typically dye to sore restless legs and cramping calves. I'd be awake until gone 3am most nights and was living off 4 hours sleep a night - I was continually crying. I really, really feel for you, sleep deprivation is soul destroying.

Do you take any vitamins? I was recommended these and I can honestly say that since starting them, especially my iron supplements, my sleep has improved dramatically!!! On occasions I have been falling asleep before 11pm - it's been lovely.

Tell your husband to be a gentleman and make him spend a night on the sofa!!

I started having this at 12wks, now 16wks. I started taking pregnant vitamin supplements but what I felt helped loads was not eating about 3hrs before bed. I have a window slightly open too to let some fresh air in. Since doing the eating thing I've slept much better

I'm 33 weeks. Have hardly had a single decent nights sleep since I found out. And it's getting worse, and when I've got a newborn I expect it will be worse still.

Sorry to not be able to offer any more positive advice.

Oh thank you mrskeegs I'm going to order some right now! :)

To be fair he does spend the odd night on the sofa so wish we had a spare room!
Iv never been a good sleeper and my last pregnancy was like this too but not from this early on.
