9 weeks preg stomach cramps after fall

Early this morning I fell off my office chair onto my side as I was leaning to reach something on the floor. I felt absolutely fine but now I'm getting stomach cramps. I don't know if I'm overthinking it as I'm an anxious person anyway but I was taking my dog for a walk about an hour ago and I felt really faint and couldn't catch my breath. (Only lasted about 10 secs).

The stomach pains are not severe but they're definitely there. Should I ring my doctor to be on the safe side or should I stop worrying and wait it out? Thanks

Can you ring your EPU??? My experience of them is that they are excellent at giving advice - they will know more than your GP and will be better informed as to what you need to do. I'm sure things will be fine, babies are very well protected in there but it never hurts to hear some reassuring words from a professional.

Hi writer, sorry but what is an EPU? I had my midwife app on Tuesday and tbh she didn't really give me much info apart from filling out forms and giving me an app for the hospital in 2 weeks time so I'm still a pregnancy newbie to all these terms!!

Thanks

The EPAU is the Early Pregnancy Assessment Unit that supports/advises women up until they are 16 weeks pregnant. Your local hospital should have one, just ring switch and ask to be put through to them. I used them a lot when I was first pregnant as I had bleeding at 7, 10 and 14 weeks. They were very supportive over the phone and I went in for monitoring if they thought it was necessary.
