How pregnant are you? I find Davina really good but they are really for later pregnancy. I did normal gym / classes up until about 25 weeks when I found I just over heated too quickly and wanted to stop.

I am 19 weeks pregnant. I just find davina slow

Yes. I think you will until you get much bigger.

Do you like swimming? I'd try just normal exercise DVDs but skip any stomach crunches.

Hi Tyra, I was the same as you and found Davina too slow. I went with Erin o'briens complete pregnancy fitness and that is great - I am now 31 weeks and can still do it fine and easily fit it in working full time and with a 2.5 dd as only 40 mins, I also do a yoga DVD and the workout on there is only 40 mins too and is great for a back ache (called yoga for me and my baby) and I also like the 10 minute solutions prenatal Pilates DVD and is a brilliant quick workout when you don't have time or are feeling tired. I printed off two dumbbell work outs for pregnancy too and those are great as well. Good luck with your pregnancy.

Hi Tyra, I second Erin O'Brien. I'm a runner but can't run more than half a mile now without needing a wee! I used to regularly do the shred workout before getting pregnant. Couldn't exercise at all for the first 15 weeks due to constant nausea and I really began to feel unfit. I tried a few dvds but they did nothing for me, Erin was the only one that made me break a sweat and with all those squats my legs were killing me at first. I bought my copy off ebay for £3 bargain!

If you fancy some yoga Tara Lee is great. I bought the 3 DVD set; pregnancy, postnatal, yoga with your baby. Not a good choice if you don't like yoga though. Grin

Erin O-Brien I also recommend - I wasn't exactly a fitness freak beforehand, so for some of the exercises I stop earlier or sit out if I'm really tired. There is a good range of easy / hard stuff so you still feel like you're getting somewhere even on the days when you don't complete everything.
