Just a bit worried I might be. We were going to wait till DD2 turned 12 months. I had her via ELCS and had DD1 via EMCS. With DD2 the ob found I had a lot of adhesions etc from being in full labour and fully dilated with no1. Was told I would be risking it to gave DD3.
Now a bit scared and not wanting to POAS!

the sooner you know the sooner you can get some reassurance and advice from doctors? Good luck...

Not sure about a 3rd but I fell pg with DC2 8 months after an emergency section and as a result was not viewed as a good candidate for VBAC by my very pro natural birth consultant. Have already been strongly warned off another less than 12 month gap and I am a way off delivery!

But I don't think you are asking about a VBAC2C?! I think you will be pretty high risk, but with a bit of luck all will be totally fine but I would be trying to get myself into the system ASAP and talking your options through with the consultant who commented on your adhesions before as really they are the only one who can really advise you on your specific risk profile. Good luck - I really hope the next few months go well for you!

You need to find out so that you can be referred to your consultant as for advice. You say that you were planning to ttc in another 3 months time anyway? I shouldn't think getting there 3 months early will make too much difference to your health.

I do have a friend who was warned that it would be risky for her to have another DC after DC3, due to having had 3 c-sections already. She then found herself unexpectedly pregnant with DC4. She was booked in for an ELCS at 37 weeks & both mother & baby were fine. She was sterilised at the same time though - under the consultant's advice!

Congratulations Thanks. Try not to worry.

Thanks guys I'm going to test on Monday - when DH is back. I'm 43 and healthy but still breastfeeding. If I am I really hope I don't get morning sickness - my two pregnancies were blighted by it- but it does go quickly
