Admittedly I have dove a lot today. Cleaning the bathroom and a deep one at that, tonnes of sorting & throwing & cooked dinner. I soaked in the bath while dh cleared up the kitchen, but my god my lower back, right where my coxice (I think that's how you spell it?!) is really stiff and sore Sad I could scream when I move, but just end up panting and gritting my teeth. Dh doesn't seem to realise I'm in agony as he thinks I whinge a lot Hmm

It sounds like the old PGP. Can you take some paracetamol and put a hot water bottle on it?

K8eee · 15/01/2014 21:57

I know this sounds stupid, buy how do you balance a hot water bottle on your back? Blush The pains now going down into my calves and ankles Confused

Sit or lie down with it behind you? Wrap it in a towel to diffuse some of the heat at first.

Shall give it a go, dh had to pull me off the sofa Hmm feel bloody useless.

How many weeks are you? I'm just being nosey as I'm only 9 weeks and my lower back is awful. Midwife has said if it's no better in few weeks may have to see someone to get exercises etc.

I'm 30 weeks. I have had this pain beforehand but just brushed it off but I'm getting worried as it's tingling down my legs

Oh poor you :( I would speak to the midwife as they should be able to refer you to a specialist...10 more weeks and baby will be out Smile

Thanks for the sympathy Feeling Smile much appreciated as I just had dh sing to me "watch out, the cripples about" Hmm not funny. I've got a midwife appointment in just over 2 weeks. I'll mention it to her then, but I've read that physio don't really do much, and it doesn't help a great deal. Not sure if that's everywhere but quite a few pg mums have said that on here. Hope you're not suffering too much Thanks

No i don't think they'll do much but might make dh realise you are in actual pain Smile eugh they're so unhelpful aren't they!! I really hope mine goes soon and it's just all the early stretching etc. I hate awful back pain with dd because she was back to back until the end...fun!!
