What did you cry at?

I just cried at Paul Hollywood making scotch pies and how lovely Scotland looked on the show. Howled. Had to call DH at work who tries so hard to stay cheerful and not laugh at me no matter how ridiculous I am being.

I am a waterworks at everything today. And yesterday. All week really. 19+4 today so far and this is definitely the worst it has been. Granted we have a few life issues but things aren't really that bad. I'm just so irrational.

Have 20 week scan on Friday and terrified that it will all be Pete Tong despite seeing consultant on Friday last week and the baby was swimming away. Cried because I thought the bump had shrunk last night.

How much longer will this last for? Can I make it stop somehow? How did you all cope and am I just being ridiculous?

I sobbed and sobbed hearing a radio appeal for charity that takes children with terminal illnesses on 'trips of a lifetime'. I remember thinking " I will walk through Hell and back for you".
It was the first rush of maternal love for my unborn baby as a person rather than it still just being a scary and exciting idea.

Saw DH making dinner at kitchen window as I drove in. Cried with relief that I wouldn't have to cook by myself. I'm 23+4 and I've driven for 5hrs today (that does include loo and sustenance stops mind) and I'm shattered. Was so thankful that he understands and is helping out at home!

Best one so far has been ASDA running out of donuts. We didn't even go to ASDA for donuts, it was more that I realised they were out of donuts when we got to the bakery section and that made me cry. In the middle of the aisle. Oh the shame Blush

ShoeWhore · 15/01/2014 22:49

Oh my goodness I cried at everything when I was pg

Eastenders
Adverts
A plumber's admin person who was very mildly rude to me dh gave her a right bollocking lol

The list was endless.

Pleasenomorepeppa · 15/01/2014 22:49

When DH got me a lemon & herb chicken in a pitta in Nando's. I always have medium. Always. I was 40 weeks pregnant & just sat in front of my chicken & sobbed.

livingzuid · 15/01/2014 23:27

ASDA! oh the disappointment I can understand! I just welled up at the horses and ducks. And did not know that about the Andrex ad :( nothing is safe.

Today I cried because DH only bought me a medium size Slush Puppy instead of a large. I was distraught. He offered to go change it but by them the whole thing was ruined.

livingzuid you saying about the slush puppy reminded of when I was pregnant with DS1.
I had a real thing about Frappuccino for the last few weeks and got one in Starbucks and they gave me a huge black straw instead of a danity little green straw - ruined the whole thing!!!
Even as you are feeling the rage/tears you know it's totally stupid but you just can't help it!!

AlwaysDancing1234 · 16/01/2014 09:39

Oh and I cried at Eastenders last night when Carol heard her granddaughter playing guitar and singing Hallelujah and burst into tears - I had "something in my eye"

SaucyJack · 16/01/2014 09:49

Crying at most things here too, but the most stupidest is welling up on a daily basis because "I want a bay-bee". Never been so desperately broody in my life.

I'm due in Feb.....

MrsRV · 16/01/2014 11:18

willyoulistentome... just cried at my desk reading your post... cant even bring myself to say or think the words again for fear of full on blub into my ready salted walkers.

MrsRV · 16/01/2014 11:19

eastenders got me too... hubby is so used to this that I just cry freely now with no reaction from him at all.

livingzuid · 16/01/2014 11:27

Got the 20 week scan tomorrow. Convinced I''m going to cry all morning.

Just cried at the news. That poor little boy missing in Edinburgh. At least that and the charity ads are real things to cry at I suppose Grin

Aw MrsRV. Sorry to set you off.
If it helps, I can tell you how I could regularly wring that same baby's neck now that he's a pre-teen. Grin

I cried on the bus this morning at the picture of the baby orangutan reaching out it his mother in the metro. It was the smile on his face... Definitely the first stirrings of maternal feelings and it's not even a human baby...

Dovahkiin · 28/05/2014 03:33

Just now - the end of Toy Story 3. I'm 23 weeks pregnant...

Barbsta · 28/05/2014 09:08

I cried at work in front of work colleagues and customers because my stapler ran out of staplers.... It was quickly followed by rage. I'm in my third trimester and not as bad but I still get emotional far easier then before

Barbsta · 28/05/2014 09:09

Stapler ran out of staples I meant lol

petitverdot · 28/05/2014 10:13

My husband asked if I had been hoovering, and I hadn't been hoovering.

CoolCat2014 · 28/05/2014 13:10

Cried at the Clarks advert for baby girl shoes in a magazine.

Cried cos DH didn't bring home something from the supermarket that I hadn't even asked for

Cried at work cos just so tired!

ch1134 · 28/05/2014 13:41

Don't read 'One Day' whilst pregnant!
