So in few days I'll be 9 weeks feels like it's taking forever before I can tell everyone I'm pregnant. Only my partner and dad knows and it's killing me lol no other women to talk to about it

Also anyone struggling with keeping their water intake up I'm only feeling nauseas very mildy but feeling full much quicker. Feel so bloated :/

I'll be 9 weeks on Tuesday and I know what you mean. However, we only have three weeks to go and that will go quickly.

As for nausea, it really kicked in this week and I find it hard to eat anything, although I always manage to because I love food ;)

I was 9 weeks yesterday. I hate the first trimester. The constant worrying about mc, feeling sick, feeling dizzy, feeling exhausted... Just hate it. I've got my booking appt on Wed. I just want to get to the scan to see if this baby is alive or not.

I'm lucky enough to have had a scan on Monday and it was wonderful to see the heartbeat. I will feel relieved to have passed the 12 week mark but things can go wrong at any point unfortunately so I guess the important thing is just trying to stay positive.

I want to hear the heartbeat so much

Me too. I've seen it but not heard it, so that's something to look forward to on Feb 4th (my next scan).

I just told people when I found out, especially- if they were people who I could lean on if things didn't go well. It's not the law you have to wait 12 weeks if you don't want to Grin

also if I was going through 9 months of pregnancy then my friends didn't get to only get 6 months - they were suffering with me all the way!

I agree with Service. Tell the people who would support you the most if anything went wrong. I did, then when something dud go wrong, I didn't have to go into difficult details, they already knew. Its not a decision I regret.

As well as immediate family, I told a couple of close friends (that i trusted 100%) as soon as i knew i was pregnant.

It was lovely having people to confide in and lean on in those very difficult early weeks, and always thought god forbid anything bad happened i would need to talk to them about it so why keep it a secret from them.

Everyone is different i guess, but if you are desperate to talk to somebody it wouldn't really do any harm as long as they keep it to them self.

On the water - I couldn't drink it either for some bizarre reason and it made my nausea worse. Fizzy water worked for me so maybe worth a try.

SaggyOldClothCatPuss · 13/01/2014 08:36

Water gave me the worst heartburn EVER! I could literally Only drink diet coke for weeks! Confused
