Sharp pains on quick movement - 10 weeks today

Hi ladies, for the past few weeks I keep getting really sharp pains, usually on my right side but sometimes on the left and all around the bottom of my tummy, if I move too quickly.

When it happenes, it only lasts a few seconds, but it stops me in my tracks when it does happen.

I read that it would be too early for RLP but just wondering if anyone else has experience of this?

That's what my DP says when it happens. He orders me to sit down and rest but I just don't feel like I've not really done anything exerting to cause it so feel a bit of a cheat when he's running around after me. I'm only bloody 10 weeks!

I had RLP from around 7 weeks so it isn't too early. I think the majority of women get it later but will very much depend on a variety of factors such as how tight your lower abdominal muscles and ligaments are, your age, previous pregnancies etc
I'm 26 weeks now and it's just starting to ease off.
Hope that helps.

Thanks Lizzie, I suppose I have to remember that it's different for everyone and just because it's the 'norm' to occur after the first trimester doesn't mean it definitely won't happen earlier. Hope it doesn't last up to 26 weeks though and I hope yours stops very soon!
