I'm a grumpy pregnant woman! my poor husband has suffered enough so I'm venting here. Feel free to join me ... misery loves company.

so I'm 30 weeks with no3 and I have a constant headache, irritated gums, heartburn, nausea, massive veiny boobs, a very active passenger who tries to burst through my navel, swollen lady parts with varicose veins, haemorrhoids, pelvic pain, restless legs and swollen elephant feet.
The next 10 weeks cannot go fast enough.

Anyone care to join my moan?

Well, I've got 6 weeks longer than you to endure so think yourself lucky Wink

Mummyk1982 · 03/01/2014 19:58

Not grumpy, but hoping that one day my boobs may not have a road map of veins and nipples the size of saucers, that my varicose veins (both leg and vulval) will go down. I sympathise with you! Hoping I don't get the swollen feet/sleepless nights etc that everyone talks of.
However, this is my first so kinda feel its a small price to pay for my little lady :-) 29 and a bit weeks :-)

I feel a bit bad moaning as am not suffering anywhere near as much as some, but I am 32 weeks with DC2 and am just soooo tired, by back hurts, I can't get my own shoes on and I can't eat a reasonable sized meal anymore! I'm fed up of being pregnant, but also - really don't want to have to give birth Grin

PastaandCheese · 03/01/2014 21:49

I'm 32 weeks with DC2 and I feel done in already.

Today the normally grumpy toast woman told me to take a seat and she'd bring my order over, a group of teenage boys insisted I got off the train before them and a man held the lift open for ages telling me not to hurry as I rushed to catch it. Instead of being grateful it occurred to me I must look like a dead dog to get such consideration at only 32 weeks.

I'm with you! Third baby here too. Chronic heartburn, pregnancy carpal tunnel syndrome, restless legs, hip/joint pain from hell, bump the size of a beach ball and baby pressing on my bladder all the time, can't bend down, barely make it up the stairs, boobs back up to K cup, generally feeling fat and cumbersome, plus a cold that I'm unable to shift.
BUT... I've only got 6 days to go! Woo hoo! Sorry, don't mean to gloat well maybe a little bit , have been suffering with this for months now and so glad it's finally coming to an end.

Never had this with my first two! But this time I'm absolutely fed up and done with being pg.

I'm 34 weeks and so exhausted. I managed to pull together a lovely Christmas (after loads of prep that just seemed to take twice as long as I had a toddler in tow and can't stand for more than 10 minutes without getting painful Braxton hicks), only to fall ill at the Christmas Eve service. Cue 4 days of me barely being able to get out of bed while everyone else enjoys it. I can't sleep and feel constantly dehydrated. Still, I need to pee every half hour or so. And now, I am having trouble picking up and holding my toddler. That, as I am sure you can imagine, is not going down well.

Thanks for this thread. I needed a moan!'

oh girls I know it shouldn't be this way but it does help to know that others are feeling the same.
I just decided tonight that enough was enough and thought I'd have a whine in place of wine ...
here's to pregnancy Wine

you should join the ante natal Martians group! we're all the same stage of pregnancy, you'll get lots of sympathy there!

Yep, DC4, 28 weeks and I've had enough and have done for weeks now. The SPD has polished me off since pre 20 weeks through destroying my usual mood-boosting outlets of exercise and decent sleep. The three other DC are destroying the house (and I'm physically unable to stop them/tidy it up due to the SPD) because we're all stuck inside because I am unable to go anywhere that I could keep them under control in this state. AND the pregnancy exhaustion has kicked in. AND the stupid migraines. At least the heartburn has sodded off thanks to the omeprazole I've been on since 7 weeks, but that brings Bonus Constipation to the table instead.

Just over 10 weeks to go for me until ELCS! Feels like ten years, especially with (and I counted them) 96 more agonising staggers walks to and from the school left to go before the birth. Think I will make a little chart and cross them off each time. See, I'm going mad as well now.

I am eternally grateful to be in this state as we are so blessed to already have 3 DC and it took over a year to conceive this one and I really thought it would never happen, but I think we are all allowed a little quiet whine just the same Smile

37weeks and trying not to lose my patience with my 1year old ds feeling your pain. Its shite being pregnant.

Think I'm more nervous this time around about the labor too because i know whats coming..Confused

PastaandCheese · 04/01/2014 07:31

How long do you think you'd stay asleep for if it wasn't for other DCs? I reckon about 5pm this afternoon in my case.....!

aydiddlydee · 04/01/2014 18:59

I haven't been able to read replies until now as I have been floored with a migraine. puke centralSad

God, that sounds rough. I'm in a strange house with 5 actors (my husbands on tour with a play, not me, no one wants to employ a pregnant actress) and since IVF in June I've basically been an open invitation for any bug/syndrome out there. Yesterday I went into hospital as my bronchitis took a turn for the worse and every nurse/doc that saw me felt the need to tell me how large I am for 23 weeks. One nurse actually wrote on my notes that I was 35 weeks! I feel the size of a small planet and I can probably be seen from space. It's just quite hard for a normally very small person, and I feel bad complaining because we're so lucky to have had this work first time for us. But there you go, feels good to rant a bit.
