Am 10 weeks PG and SICK. sicker than with my DD and the only food that helps has been fast food. Today I've made a new discovery: pasta, with garlic oil and parsley with a little cheese on top. YUM. quick and easy and the garlic helps with nausea GrinGrinGrin
Any others?

Could you make cheaper (and healthier) fast food options at home. E.g. I liked white muffin toasted with a square of processed cheese!
Oven chips and ketchup?

summerbaby2014 · 29/12/2013 21:31

Baked beans and scrambled eggs on toast. Not really too unhealthy I don't think ... We'll not if the other option is crisps(as it was for me!).

A good variation is get the beans with sausages and sprinkle grated cheese on top. :)

This is all I wanted to eat for about a week, this was at around 10 weeks for me too

Ooh that sounds nice. I love white muffins. It's not just the unhealthiness of it but also the money!!

Fish finger sandwiches also good. Couldn't stand fish at that stage but fish fingers worked :)

Supernoodles?

m&s do a lovely sweet and sour chicken ready meal.

Toasties with cheese, ham, onion (even garlic ;))

Went thru a real BB phase a couple of weeks ago, now makes me sick Grin
Mmmmmm super noodles. I'd forgotten about those beauties

I need this thread!

Last time I survived on crisp sandwiches for the first fourteen weeks. I can't do that again!

All I've managed healthy this time is tortellini pasta with broccoli. No sauce.

Will be watching hopefully for ideas.

I had hyperemesis in my first pregnancy and the only thing I could eat were cheesy wotsits and jacket potatoes , not necessarily at the same time.

onepieceoflollipop · 29/12/2013 22:31

i'm not even pregnant bte, just very sympathetic. Hyperemesis first time round and bad all day sickness second time round.

onepieceoflollipop · 29/12/2013 22:32

babybel cheeses was another thing I liked.

crisp sandwiches

Raspberries and strawberries.

SomethingOnce · 29/12/2013 22:50

Macaroni cheese?

aroha77 · 29/12/2013 23:05

I am loving corner yoghurts - pretty healthy?!

Sussex31 · 29/12/2013 23:35

Wotsits and egg mayo sandwiches with cress or cucumber. What an amazing combination that was at 10 weeks.

AlwaysDancing1234 · 30/12/2013 01:16

I'm 15 weeks and still getting nausea but fish finger sandwiches, super noodles and crisps are all lovely at the moment for some bizarre reason! And lots of cereal.
Midwife has said to just eat what you can keep down, stay well hydrated and keep taking pregnancy multivitamins!!

AlwaysDancing1234 · 30/12/2013 01:18

Would it be completely unacceptable for me now, at 1:15am to eat a bag of crisps as you have all made me feel hungry? Grin

icklekid · 30/12/2013 05:52

All I could face for weeks were salt and vinegar crisps, white buttered toast and squash. Ice lollies (recommend by midwife) are great, dry pasta with a little bit of cheese, jacket potatoes and fruit are what I have expanded to...nearly 14 weeks so hopefully not too much longer to go for me...

TobyLerone · 30/12/2013 06:14

Don't worry overly about eating healthily at this point. Eat what you fancy/will stay down. You've got a long time to worry about eating healthily!

elvislives2012 · 30/12/2013 07:09

Hmmmm wotsits and egg sandwiches? The thought of them are having the opposite effect on me where's the vomit emocion

OP posts:
Floralnomad · 30/12/2013 10:18

My one bit of perfect advice is don't eat anything until you have considered whether you want to vomit it back up ,so in my case you steer clear of anything eggy, milky ,dairy as they're my worst nightmare to vomit back .

prettywhiteguitar · 30/12/2013 12:34

Mashed potato and dumplings with gravy saved me with dd, just sick as a dog for 21 weeks

Mushrooms made me want to hurl
